In the version I'm playing you have to look for eversion points instead of it randomly switching, making it fairly less annoying

However when you get to the end, even though you will be in the Happiest world, a hand will pop out where DC said it would be in the worst world, I jumped a little.

@solgatekeeper I don't think it's possible to do a no-gem run of Eversion. However, I will say this: If you miss even one gem, you can't make the eversion to 7-8, and you will therefore be forced to take the fake flag at the end of the level, giving you the Bad Ending.

If you clear 7-4 in the HD version on Steam, you get a weird ending.

Anyways. The fake flag at the end of 7-X disappears in 7-8, allowing you to scroll past it and into the real flag that leads to 8-X.

It's not like it matters, but eversion is now on Steam. The graphics are a little better and there are achievements, but the same music. Had my computer not crashed from overheating, I would have played though the whole game but from what I can tell, the steam version is exactly the same game but with a $5 price tag. I bought it to support the creators of the game, but its not really worth it if you are looking for a new game.
