That is realy hard, you have to play ageinst him insainly many times and try to dodge it. In other words practise and timing. A little luck could help to. (but not the "luck" status in the game)

@InwardChaos93 easy train cloud to lvl 100 and up his bravery as much as you can (get more accesory slots) and spam braver, though u may want to practise dodging though cuz if you arent careful chaos will pound the crap out of you

this pissed me off i had to leave battle 2 times for different accessories i had 10 equiped and i used iron giant and i had so much acc for exgauge and booster lets just say no matter what im always in exmode from battle start to end and i start with 5k bravery i got a frends charator thats hard as hell i trained on it till i gotten good im the only person that beat him funny tho hes so easy but chaos at 110 was hard tho i had trobbles with it

well.just practice,memorize the timing and the sounds and u should be able to dodge it,i can dodge but i got caught sometimes,and to avoid the damage,i enter in EX mode in teh right time...

I can reliably dodge Demonsdance, always fail smacking him when eh does that charge-up attack and as the other guy says, divine punishment is a BITCH to dodge. I managed to accidentally do it twice.

LV 90 chaos keeps owning me in the damn colosseum simply because my gear is shit and I can't upgrade (How the hell am I supposed to anyway?! AUGH! ).

this game was fucken gay,they should av make a rpg for this in similar fashion as kingdom hearts,i mean action-rpg type stuff,instead of goofy n donald the ducky as your buddies or any disney heroes,you should fight along other final fantasy heroes n destroy the coalition of villains,make it more like an adventure,they try the fighting thing out coz of the success of smash bros,but it ended up having poor sales..what a waste.

Hmm...

Personally, I think Dissidia is an Action RPG, so it's good to post more spectacular fights.

From what I see, all you do is block+attack all the time till he breaks. I know - it's hard with Cloud to do other attacks, but he never meant to be aerial fighter. On the other hand - midair fight is Chaos's weakness.

Maybe I will just post mine battles to show you what I mean...

If you have issue with him, dont hesitate to use Incenses and Resins. They wont break until the end of form 3, and can really make him easier. 2 Valor incenses and a valor resin starts you off at 5x normal bravery. 2 destruction incenses and a resin gives you +16 atk. I can usually break him in 2 BRV attacks even without these. And use the Heike's set, EX is a very nice tool for him if you're not good at avoiding his moves. You can guard in the middle of his combos, and counter with an EX burst.

good job dude, i used just about the same tactics as you to beat him, except i spammed omnislash v.5 after blocking his swing bravery attacks and blocked or evaded and attacked again when vulnerable. even though i had Magic Pot ready, i didn't use it. FTW :D

buy the Item Drop Rate Up (10 Pack) or more in the PP Catalog, equip luck increasing accessories & fight some quick battles until you're chocobo says "Lucky" in the customization menu. Then fight the character who has the weapon/equipment you need.
