Where do you loose over 70 hp from engine to wheels? Powertrain loss is maximum 40 hp on cold transmission abd 22 hp when warm. Measured, not estimated!
Most SRT8 dyno around 360 to 370 stock...yet its 425hp 6.1L engine...the SRT community know that its a 15 to 18% powertrain loss...go on Lxforums all the info is there...my baseline dyno was 371 rwhp..please feel free to ask any other questions..thnx

And estimating by a percentage is ridiculous. Put on bigger wheels and powertrin loss is different. Run car cold or with hot engine, powertrain loss will be 20 hp different...
Wake up and forget the crappy american dynos where numbers are estimated. Go and measure them instead of estimating!
Just an idea to think about: the same car, powertrain stays the same. Calculating with 18 %. So when the car is tuned and gets 100 hp more, you get 18 hp more powertrain loss, too?

You dont understand. The powertrain loss is no% number, its a fix hp number. and its definetly not 70 hp. I can show you a lot dynos with powertrain loss MEASURED, not GUESSED. It was NEVER over 40 hp with cold gearbox, usually 25-30 with warm gearbox.
Conditions vary from temp, humidity and dyno, so you can't give a fix number ...Here are vids of other Stock SRT8..
WSA magnum SRT8 Dyno, SRT8 Challenger Dyno,Kwt DragerZ - SRT8 DYNO, srt8 charger dyno....Each dyno condition is different but it clearly shows a minimum 50hp+ loss on each vid and i can keep goin...obviously our mercedes NAG-1 tranny is not very effecient lol...
Believe what you want, the powertrain loss is NOT 18% and its NOT over 40 hp, under NO condition. Go to a quality dyno that measures powertrain loss also and you will see.
By the way: who the fuck places the cooling fan behind the car, lol
YOu can check my videos, there you see how powertrain loss is measured: letting the car roll out in neutral gear after the run. Thats measuring, no guessing. Thats realy numbvers, not fantasy numbers.
But believe what you want and dont get too wirried if your 535 estimated hp car gets busted by a 480 measures hp car ;-)
By the way you still did not answer what mods you have? That will give us also an impression of how much is realistic

Cooling fan was use to remove exhaust fumes, it did have one in the front..ur response was quick.. did u even look at those vids? if so you should ask them aswell why the numbers show a 50+ hp loss...all the best and merry xmas...

Please search other SRT8 dyno's on stock trim and you'll see that they dyno around 370...
