I was moving away from California & my high school boyfriend...& on the last weekend with him, he played this song to me in 1966. He just called me and told me he's never been able to ever listen to taht song again as it makes him remember what happened that day he last played it for me. We're friends now, he's in Calif & I'm in Texas...we surfed together and I wore his class ring. I'm the blond surfer girl & he was the good looking sufer guy. Nice memories. We surfed Seal & Huntington in 1966.
