Mario is the best player to ever lace up the skates and Crosby (God-willing with this injury) looks like he'll be the one to overtake him. I'm a Pens fan, but I can totally say that without a bias.

@DatPicksburghGuy Crosby will never be as good as Lemieux...Crosby's best pace was 66 points in 41 games (132 points if he played a full season at that pace) in an era where offence is being promoted again at the age of 23. After being retired for 3 years and still suffering so many chronic injuries, Lemieux put up 76 points in 43 games (144 points if he played a full season at that pace) in the Dead Puck Era at the age of 36.

He's an incredible talent, but he's no Mario Lemieux.
