  • They just din't make it like Chris anymore. He is sooo missed!

  • @cmsmith1973 no, they certainly don't make it like Chris anymore. Now they have all of these country/pop "Superstars" instead who really aren't worth a crap to begin with!

    Maybe I'm getting old!

  • @englundus

They started the pop stuff w/ Shania Twain, but even then it was still good, but pretty much after Garth Brooks Retired is when it all went too hell, I feel old too when it comes to country music, I love Chris Ledoux, and Garth Brook, and really dont care for majority of the new stuff, but im only 22 lol so i know im not old, idk know whats going on with todays society but it needs to stop lol

  • @Humminbirdie I feel the same way and I'm 20 lol. This new crap has no country soul.

  • @englundus lol the only good modern country singers are justin moore and a few others. Most of them put a cowboy hat on and pretend to be a cowboy lol. Sing about something they don't do.

  • As legit as they come!

  • he"s ok

  • I got to play in the warm-up band for Mr. Ledoux for one show on his last touring season. I still consider it one of the highlights of my musical career. Us guys in the warm-up band couldn't wait to get off stage so he could show us how it was done.

  • @TankedPyrat if you had to describe the event in one word , how would you describe it?

  • @boo181 I went to his show at Cowboy's in Greenville SC about 17-18yrs ago. He was really in his prime back then and put on one hell'uva show!! He truly was a great performer. The world lost a great artist and performer in Chris.

  • @boo181 I have seen many of his shows and they were the best I have ever seen. More energy than any group or artist out there. God, I miss him and his music.

  • God bless Chris Ledoux!!!!!

  • Hey this isn't the Bruce Springsteen song

  • That's why it is entitled Cadillac Ranch - Chris LeDoux.

  • great song!!!!! :)

  • one of my fav songs. i bet they had alot of fun making that vid xD

  • I will always love and miss you Chris Ladoux,

but your songs live on forever!

    Candy

  • I met him at ahigh school rodeo in Casper in 1999 or 2000. What a friendly and modest man. He was working the chutes with all the other guys. He was never to good to work like the rest of us. Rest in Peace Chris.

  • I had the awsome oppertunity to sit down with Chris and eat dinner and chat at the Tumbleweed in Stillwater OK it was the last Calf fry he did. I got him to autograph the hat I used to cook nuts in, along with Charlie Danials, Dirks Bently, The Great Divide, and a few more. that hat is proudly displayed in my home. Never to be worn again.

  • there is some country that is good country, ill agree that alot of the music today isnt real, but not all of it is bad

  • If you want country to go back to being country you gotta send the massage to these bull-shit artists & the record labels & send it through their bank accounts. Unfortunatly too many ignorant youngsters like the new stuff.

I'm saying it's not good music, but it's not country & shouldn't try to be passed off as it.

  • no kiddin, all this new stuff is retarted, they need to go old school, i'm only 18 but i can't stand new country. some of the stuff by older artists and some new stuff by new artists i can stand, but most of it is dumb. Im not even a cowboy, i live in the country, i work in a welding shop, but i LOVE chris ledoux. My favorites are Garth, Chris, and Hank Jr. I love how Garth and Chris include some electric guitar in their songs, they are part rock and that is just awesome.

  • Thats the point the new artist dont get anime, "I'm saying it's not good music, but it's not country & shouldn't try to be passed off as it.'

  • agreed. a lot of the new stuff seems more like it's trying to be country-rock and it just doesnt have the counrty sound to it. i dont like the stuff from 30+years ago so much but the 90's were great; but not gonna lie i do like many of the new songs today just there's an abundance of bad ones. and Chris is sure an amazing artist

  • the greatest country legend

  • this is real country

  • The best and wildest concert I ever seen was LeDoux in Lubbock back in 2000 after a bull riding. It was better than anything I have been to since.

  • This man means so much to me and my family. May rest in peace and live forever.

  • LONG LIVE CHRIS LeDOUX!!!!!

  • wish he wouldnt of died he is the best

  • It's real country. Unlike much of the crap that was on the CMT awards. I'm getting sick of it all fast.

  • longtalltexasn63: I totally agree...I miss the good days of country, the new stuff doesnt even compare

  • Amen brother. Theres nothing like a good ol George Strait song! Chris was a one of a kind and he was a real cowboy. Most of country today is rock players who couldn't make it with Rock. I love rock but, not in my country.

  • i also agree ol times was the bst now it all starting o sound like hip hop or whatever you call it

  • RIP chris ledoux

  • gosh if chris was alive and younger i would marry him! he is fuckin hot!!!

I have never listened to a better singer/song writer. had to send off to the states for his cd's, and i am so pissed off i have only disscovered him now after he has gone.
