Ireland have won more games than Australia heads down. This is simply because GAA requires much more technical skill and thought, so I wouldn't call them amateurs.
It's true the Australians are bigger and mostly stronger, but the reality is that they are no match for the skill and speed of Gaelic football.

The Aussie team would go into each game knowing they were beaten on skill so closed down the game to taking players down dangerously, taking down off the ball, clothes lining around necks and other unsportsmanlike tactics. Physical contact is a part of both sports but true less so in gaa, so what? The aussie team showed themselves to not understand that they needed to step up the plate in the skill part of the game. Im glad this isnt played anymore, the skillful gentlemen of the gaa dont need it

Look, its simple, the irish players are only amateurs, they train a few times a week and dont do any serious gym work, compared to the aussies so its only normal that the majority of the aussies are gonna be big and stronger!
