If you go back and listen to At The Gates you can probably find a similar riff to almost any new metalcore song. I know At The Gates is melodic deathmetal, but every metalcore riff i've heard has already been created by ATG or another amazing band.

The style is I suppose SCENE (or whatever) but you don't have to have that certain style to be EMO, it's your inside. The way you feel, act and think.
