@finderoftheway any farm/garden supply can order the materials or from the net at places like "irrigation mart' or "dripworks". Yeah, I did spend a few bucks on containers!
@sal39759 whats the dimensions of your pots?? great work!! u should add a compost tea setup to increase the soil microorganisms, it increases plant growth 10 fold!
I ordered it through my local farmer's Co-op. There are two good companies, Dripworks and Irrigation Mart that are very helpful in setting up a system and have all the components for this system. Both have websites and free catalogs.
@spider54545 Spider, it's called nursery cloth or ground cover. I purchased it at my local farmer's co-op. Any nursery should be able to order it for you. Thanks....Greg
Greg, remember......there are child labor laws!!! Just Kidding, darling little girl. Bet she grows all the vegetables, you just supervise. Oh.....gotta go......Jeff's come over to to help with the harvesting.... :)
lol that is the problems kids do not work anymore, you cannot even get a kid to cut grass anymore unless there is a riding lawn mower and you pay them $20
Jeff doesn't have time to stop and help, he's on his way down here to Louisiana with his front end loader to help me. Should arrive sometime next month.
That is a neat operation you got going there. I like it...... Donald
I've seen this type of system before. It is absolutely perfect for spot watering and conservation of water. You did an excellent job setting it up. Very cool. :)
I like how you talk dude!!

can you do this with peas, butterbeans, corn, orka

Hey Jason, I wouldn't use this system on those crops, but instead, I would use drip tape! It is even easier to use!
