Solution close down the FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS in this country today. Why are people attacking WHOLE FOODS and not the businesses who are costing the most?
THIS IS BULL SHIT. It stuns me that they can lie and get away with it! Then they come down on this lawyer for standing up for what is right. As a Whole Foods employee(not for long) who works full time, MY INSURANCE IS NOT PAID FOR, I DO NOT $1800 A YEAR FOR HEALTHCARE, And John Mackey is a bad guy.
I asked him to donate a $1. ONE dollar, to charity and he told me "No." Let me also say he bought $60 dollars worth of Sushi for his flight back to Texas.
The founder of Mcdonalds, he had only one opinion, that his food tastes great. A good ceo should only have one opionion, that is that their product is the best.
Ive been boycotting Mcdonalds because they hire mostly part-time, minimum wage workers. I dont trust a disgruntled minimum wage worker handeling my food.
@ALESITO23 so whole foods can fire your ass for NO reason with no recourse available to you except unemployment that they will most certainly attempt to block.
ppl need healthcare..we eithere pay up front or in back but when immigrants and people with no insurance go to the hospital the unpaid bills are picked up by premium hikes for those who have insurance. either way the insurance companies get paid
I don't give a crap what the ceo's opinions are. Whole Foods Market is just incredible, if you've never been there before you must go immediately. People say whole foods is too expensive, but it's really not when you factor that you don't need to eat as much food when it's actually food. Processed foods are digested quicker thus making you hungry again faster, causing you to eat more and spend more money, while getting fatter, and not providing the nutrients your body needs to fight disease.
@LversusKira i worked there. its not all wonderful. its not all bad either...but they have a dark and dirty side just like any other multinational corporation. because they claim to be green doesnt mean its true.
I always find myself asking the question when I hear someone like this Russell guy; how much do you give to our society. How does this guy calculate his taxes (or direct his accountant to do so)? Does he round up? Does he throw in an extra $100 or $1,000? The answer is no. He doesn't elect to give more, but wants to make others "give" more. Again, don't know him, but suspect he's not hurting too badly. Get off your high horse and do something yourself. Get by with only one Mercedes.
The sick think is how nobody thinks the people responsible for the suffering that happens on the single-payer waiting lists in Canada and other countries are "Bad Guys"
How funnyu are these goddamn fools screaming for single-payer when their own pol's with the presidency and majorities in both houses can't pass ANY of their fucked-up reforms?
That guy is ridiculous. Whole Foods is one of the examples of great employee healthcare. I mean I understand getting upset over people having coverage, and all that, but Whole Foods is part of the solution not the problem. I hope that guys boycott failed miserably.
when that other woman came into the conversation, she said the only thing that seemed to make any sense. It's wrong to blame an entire company based on the opinion of one person. It's also wrong to call someone bad based on their opinions.
Mackey argued for employee-paid insurance with high deductibles. Mackey supports Corporate profitting on health. He is a very bad guy and Greta is not much better.
BTW: This is America and ANYONE can say what they want meanwhile, anyone can act appropriately according to what you say. Support for the boycott is appropriate and I doubt very many conservatives will shop at Whole Foods because it's just not their niche. Besides they're too cheap to pay $5 for a can of carrot juice.
"Mackey argued for employee-paid insurance with high deductibles. Mackey supports Corporate profitting on health. He is a very bad guy and Greta is not much better."
So in your view efficiency, cost structure, and quality of healthcare are secondary concerns and whether people are profiting from the industry is the foremost concern?
i used to work at whole foods and there insurance isnt all that. its great if you get a common illness, but if anything bad happends to you your fucked.
Food is a commodity, not a right? Must explain why so many people around the world are starving .
You have to be a pretty cold hearted SOB or perhaps a CEO who's gotten rich by selling over priced food-to argue that the free market is the best way to feed the people.
In countries where the provision of food is left to the markets, starvation is mostly eradicated, and in those countries with a cultural disposition towards egalitarian command economic systems, Africa, starvation is most rampant.
This guy's just trying to throw his point upon people via the media.. he's eating up air time with his "only solution"... "60 people can be saved per day" crap.
The guy is getting a little break during the interview from chasing ambulances down Pennsylvania Ave. He probably, with his "60 people die every day" mantra, spends most of his day turning over stones looking for medical malpractice windfalls, WHICH, by the way, have screwed up the health care system. He would never admit to his own participation though, I am sure of it. The left never admits being wrong, they just scream louder until you shut up...that how Marxists have always done it.
Guess what?? This is suppose to be America. Mackey can say whatever he wants; Capitalism allows for consumers to take their dollars elsewhere. Whole Foods rocks. They won't be hurt by the small % of people who want socialism to rule. Also, we all care for people who can't afford healthcare, but what about the millions of lives SAVED from all over the WORLD, people who travel to the US to save their lives!! I have a friend w/ 4 STAGE cancer W/O INSURANCE! She is still getting A+ treatment
Russell is right on. John Mackey has to answer to shareholders, and since many Whole Food customers do not agree with his position, they can take their greenbacks elsewhere.
Russell Mokhiber is an absolute moron. The sad thing is our government is attacking everyone with a different opinion by doing the exact same thing. They want single payer and they will keep trying to silence anyone against gov't taking over healthcare, especially when they suggest valid alternatives!
Im going to a bbq saturday and I am picking up some cole slaw from whole foods. ITs really great!!. And their lines move fast!!. They are organized. . Go stand on the street with your signs you jerk .Like that is really going to do anything. Go waste your time.
60 millions americans dying everyday? What a jerk. I love whole foods.and I will continue to shope there. They have the best pizza . Everyone looking at this video should taste their pizza . It is the best.
Russell Mokhiber sounds like a fool---doesn't he realize that Obama doesn't even support Single Payer----why doesn't he boycott the White House. He should be boycotting Wal-Mart who pay their employees such low wages and does not provide any health care benefits.
this guy is a pur idiot. this is why we cant get anything done in america. it is way to easy to call people names and not even listen to the other side.
whole foods has been screwing over their workers in fort collins for the past year dont listen to these whole foods corporate mockingbirds gush about them. united farm workers sent me a bunch of action alerts on whole foods turning their backs on the poor beef northwest workers as well....don't get me started I know too much about WFM and it's mainly yucky
i have worked there for 7 years. i get a very good wage far above union scale, get gainsharing every month,a great 401k plan and good healthcare. we also have farmers markets every month for all the local farmers. wonder what you know that i have missed'
I cant afford $600 a month for an HMO is I leave my job. II am struck in a dead end job for the health insurance. I am not free due to fear of losing my life and/or money/equity in my home, if I get caught with a health crisis.
You can't afford it or don't want to afford it? What if we found out you have a ski boat and 50" plasma TV?? Who should decide what you can afford if the rest of us are kicking in for you? You? Us? Obama?
No kidding hey? Next we'll find out Mackey believes in god, has a gaggle of unaborted offspring and pays his taxes. Ugh!! I'd pull my hair out but it's too thick.
StalinsLoveChild Next thing we know , Mackey will suddenly retire being CEO after causing an uproar with his his lies, fallacies and propaganda, and just be the local village idiot in his hometown.
Van Sustern was lame. She should have discussed the issues brought up in the article. Instead, she tried to present this as a personal issue for Mokhiber, which it really isn't -- he probably has health insurance. That pro-WF guest said nothing worthy, and made it into a "free speech" issue, when the real issue is the content presented in the article, which is probably offensive to 100% of Democrats and 70% of Republicans.
That part about WF coverage is deceptive. WF doesn't pay 100% of the deductible - they have high deductible plans. What WF pays is the premium, which is low, because the deductible is high.
What's so hard about this? The CEO supports a system that results in large numbers of deaths each yerar, and HUGE numbers of bankruptcies. Yes, that makes someone a bad person. If you see such tragedy and think, "well, as long as I'm rich enough for it not to affect me, personally, I want to keep it this way," you are a demonstratably bad person.
fiveb85: Mackey honestly believes that his healthcare plan is superior, and that is why he shared his ideas on the Wall Street Journal. If for argument's sake Makey's plan isn't as good as Obama's plan, that doesn't mean that Mackey is a "bad guy' for sharing what he honestly believes is a greater plan.
Republican and other outspoken opponents of medical reform want to wipe out Medicare, Medicaid and even increase what people pay for limited medical insurance.
They want to destroy any reasonable form of affordable medical insurance and provide even greater long-term profits for insurance companies.
Theyre not worried about end-of-life care; theyre worried about profits. And they know that with no real reform, Medicare, Medicaid and low-cost medical insurance will be financially wiped.
Funny, but didn't Obama say he is NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN a proponent of Single Payer? So I guess he's a murdering "Bad Guy" also? We need more imbecilic miracles like this guy slithering out from under their rocks. Sunshine is the best disinfective for progressivism.
So he thinks Mackey is a bad guy and Castro is an exemplary leader. If Mokhib er had his way America would be run like Cuba. Thats all people really need to know. He makes his $ attacking corporations.
that Russell guy is a typical liberal scum. agree with him 100% or he'll attack you both professionally and personally with no room for understanding or even an attempt to listen.
It's hillarious as to how the chick with the horse head is talking about ppl. should support "whole organic" foods. Looking at her, I would say it's safe to say that, she's simply a spokeswoman/employee for this company and not a customer.
Whole Foods is not cheap. I don't think anyone who shops there is poor. I doubt if any of them even care about people not having health insurance.
If it is a fact that 60 people die every day from our current health care system, and you want it to stay the same, then I would call that evil and a bad person. Would Jesus let 60 people die every day? I don't think so and I ain't even religious.
waltermh111: What do you mean by, "Its ironic though, his business lives on liberals buying his expensive healthy stuff"? EVERYONE shops at Whole Foods.
I am sur that he has all spectrum of people shopping there, but if you look at the demographics of his locations, its generally liberal and even his site, at least used to if still doesnt, suggest that if people believe a Whole Foods would be good in their location, suggest it.
But the company works best in these area, and most of the list was liberal, especially how it does better in college towns.
We all know how conservatives think colleges are liberal brainwashing systems.
I doubt it, you present an absolute and reality is not comprised of absolutes.
There are some republicans who are concerned about each of those things.
Healthy eating is common to many demographics. Just that liberals tend to be the majority that work for such things.
Ever heard of conservative tree huggers? Usualy its conservatives complaining about them, but that doesnt mean there arent conservatives that care about environmental issues. They are just a minority.
waltermh111 Well, we know Mackey is a rightwing libertarian , so his interest in Whole Foods is obviously strictly profit-driven. He even discusses in his WSJ op-ed piece that his own employees "free" coverage has high deductibles. Did he really think we did not catch that in his op-ed?
Healthcare, well, I dont see conservatives giving enough to some non-profit group that provides healthcare to working families that cant afford it so that they can stay healthy.
I didnt see them trying to reform the system til Obama brought it up either.
But it doesnt mean conservatives dont care about the health of others. They just dont offer solutions til the dems suggested them. And will stop offering once the dems stop.
I agree, at the least, it works better then our private system is working. It also works well for our congressmen, and apparently most of our veterans.
Cost seems to be a major problem, but while our HMO system is very profitable, its the citizens under those plans who are losing big financially.
Under a single player system, the government gets the burden and can raise taxes or find other revenue streams, but people dont go bankrupt from taxes so i would say its better financially.
Also, another thing thats ignored is that many other countries that have public systems also have privarte system to back it up.
If you want more specialised care you have choices then.
But the public system allows everybody the ability to see a doctor while their private system allows a more individualised care for those that can afford it.
Thats not a bad system to try.
Even then its not perfect, but nothing is, and it covers everybody and gives options.
Whole Foods is still a good company and honestly, without much competition.
We have central market in austin, and i guess wherever HEB is, but I dont think its as good as whole foods, and its not in every place that whole foods is.
This isn't true. Republicans just don't talk about it that much, because, well, it makes poor people feel bad because they can't afford the healthy food. And when poor people feel deprived, they tend to vote Democrat.
That's the difference between your typical rich Republican and your rich Libertarian. Libertarians are so blind to the messed up situation that they go rub it in people's faces, and get people upset.
wildgift2 I think typical rich Republicans rub it in people's faces too, look at Glenn Beck & William Kristol (neocon pundit of GOP) and this pundit b**** who is freaking out because SHE started with the question "Do you think he's a bad guy?"
Democrats don't hate rich people. Otherwise, they wouldn't be supporting a union whose boss made $625,000 in 2008, compared to John Mackey's $33,000 TOTAL salary.
StoogeWatcher That's good to know, and notice you do not quote a source. However the union DOES support the people's causes, Mackey supports expensive tomatoes and high deductibles for his employees "free" health insurance. And I was told by a Whole Foods supervisor that Mackey only pays himself a dollar a year, so the stories are getting very, shall we say, diversified?
Businesses have engaged in abuses. That's why we hae an FDA, FTC, EPA, etc. THere is need for gov in certain areas, but not in others and the gov may screw it up.
Leaping Lizzards! That will teach John Mackey to express his opinion. I love Whole Foods, and after this episode with Mackey, I will go out of my way to CONTINUE to shop at Whole Foods, for even the smallest and insignificant of items. These people have a right to their opinions as well, but they truly are picking on the wrong guy...... and they are the same ones who label conservatives as hate-mongers. How pathetic.
Anyone who wants people to die when there is a clear alternative is a bad guy. It does not matter what the excuse is.
Anyone who wants to be more educated when it comes to the facts regarding health care please visit the comment section of my profile. There you will find lots of information and ways in which you can get more involved.
Smartassawhip: Watch this YouTube video. It's a 20/20 interview with Bob Mackey, and he really cares about the employees of Whole Foods. Whole Foods employees aren't dying because he's a "bad guy".
What I find interesting is the fact that you people are all worried about this guy being called a bad guy for expressing his opinion yet it is quite common for people who express their opinions here on youtube to be called much worse than a bad guy.. not only do you do that but you spam them etc... You are just as bad. Nobody said Whole food employees were dying.
By you people I am referring to those who insist on defending this man because he was called a bad man. The other 2 cases where I used the word you I speaking in general terms. I know about what Obama did with Big Parma and there are several videos out there explaining why he did what he did. It is not like he has tried to hide it or anything. Sometimes you have to give some to get some.. and compromise for the greater good. It's business. How are they shady when we know about them?
For those who would harshly critique John Mackey (Whole Foods CEO), check out this interview he did for ABC's 20/20 back in 2007: /watch?v=Xsp_Jh5EIT0
After it should be obvious why Mackey opposes Obama's Healthcare reforms... Whole Foods has done right by its employees Healthcare needs.
WF's health plan is inferior to the health plan provided at larger mainstream grocery store unions. Though their premiums are 100% covered, there's a deductible, and coverage of their workforce is incomplete. So, mainstream markets cost less, provide better health insurance... and their unions support single payer. Go figure.
wildgift2: "WF's health plan is inferior to the health plan provided at larger mainstream grocery store unions."
I believe you're mistaken. Simply because some might purport this inferiority, doesn't make it so. When Mackey introduced the Personal Wellness Account (PWA) model to WF employees, over 70% voted in favor and it has been further ratified several times since.
The PWA system is what the EMPLOYEES of Whole Foods apparently want, like and intend to keep; so, it must be working.
i think the canadianprincess and sidplicity are in love for sure. you folks should fly up to the vineyard for the weekend and grab a b&b or something.
could fox have realy have propped up a more lackluster dem. i think not. the whole foods ceo is not a bad person just because he dosent share any of the enthusiasm for the president's proposed bill or a least one major aspect of it. this is someone who actualy takes care of his employees so he's entitlted to his opinion.
Yes, a joke to your question what's next. Mackey should be applauded, he is a capitalist standing up for capitalism instead of undermining it like Buffett. I for one will boycott the boycott.
My comment was made to be funny. Mackey kept going on and on about the guy calling the other guy a "bad guy". It's all just so stupid it doesn't hold my attention.
He's not so much a capitalist but an advocate for individual empowerment. The Declaration of Independence was also written in the spirit of individual empowerment and not capitalism. Capitalism and communism are labels of division and should be avoid like right vs left.
wait aren't whole foods BETTER for people? They don't all these artificial ingredients and process your food. They make sure it is natural and good for your body. I don't understand why he is trying to boycott this, is it because one area of whole foods is becoming corrupted? Then why boycott all whole foods, shouldn't it be just that one kind of food? Could someone fill me in on the details please I am puzzled right now, first he talks about this then healthcare, I don't get it.
DeagleBeagle said: I don't understand why he is trying to boycott this, is it because one area of whole foods is becoming corrupted?
No, he is boycotting this company because he does not agree with something that the CEO said. This is how ridiculous these people are. It has nothing to do with the actual business it is what one person said...so lets destroy the business and everyone who is employed there and forget all the good the CEO already does for Americans.
Ohh and the retardicans dont try and ban companies if it hurts there sensabilities. Give me a fucking break dimwit, Michelle Malkin made a federal case about a scarf a tv host cook wore in a Dunkin Donuts ad.
Sid, this video is ABOUT Russell Mokhiber and what he is saying about the CEO of Whole Foods just because he does not agree with what the CEO says!!!! Your absolute hate for Republicans makes you look like the retard because it shows how closed you are. You don't want a debate you just want to rant and read your own thoughts that you think are important.
I was young retardican for five years in my college days. then much like my belief in the catholic church I cast away false claims and bullshit. you have teabag shit on your page.your the antithesis of common sense and reasoning.over the past 8 years. where was your outrage then. answer that question. did you have issue with the third largest entitlement giveaway to big Pharma in2004? did jesus of crawford despit his fascist realities commit socialism for big Pharma.where was your outrage then.
So, if my math is right, according to this fool, we're only talking about 22,000 people a year. Is a single payer system run by a federal government that can't run something simple like Cash For Clunkers worth over a trillion bucks over 10 years.
I am for tort reform and portable insurance, as well as opening competition to all companies in all states to all Americans, not just their respective home states. Those three things alone will help. Not a 1000 page bill.
Russell is a dillusional fool. How dare he say the CEO Mackey of Whole Foods is a "bad guy" just because he feels a single payer plan is not the way to go (as do a lot of Americans) I shop every week at Whole Foods & will continue to do so proudly! So F.U. Russell!!!
JustificationNation do you know why? Because MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN cherry pick theirs and do NOT show their audience both sides. They only cherry pick normal every day Americans and then ridicule them on national TV. You are right, Fox news finds the worst people to put on to show America that the rest of the Media are NOT doing their job!
Curious since you make government intervention socialism charge. Did you have any regrets when jesus of crawford violated the FISA courts, did you have any regret when the Patriot act stripped away our personal rights. Did you care when president idiot sanctioned torture and illegal detention which violates the basis of our country. Where you upset when president numbnuts violate the very Geneva Convention courts that we asked for after WW2?
Sid, go take your red herring and post it on CNN or MSNBC's site. Stick to the damn topic or one thing at a time. If you think you look 'smart' by posting everything you think was illegal on a post that has NOTHING TO DO WITH the topic, you have another thing coming. Just because you press POST COMMENT doesn't mean you are as smart as you think you are.
I watched this in disbelief. Mokhiber is carrying out his marching orders. I doubt he believes what he is saying. Health Insurance reform must be done, one or two issues at a time. We cannot give our country away to radicals who want Socialism. We must preserve our individual rights or it's the end of the USA.
Yes, I agree completely. Everyone the individual right to die because they cannot afford health care, we cannot take that right away from people by forcing them to live.
And it's not fair for those who have a lot to give just a little back to help their fellow man (i.e. the people they took what they have from), they have the individual right to be selfish and greedy as well.
By the way what is socialism. Do you know what an actual statement of what socialism means? Are our veterans that recieve government healthcare socialist? Is your retardican senator or congreesman who perpetuates this bullshit a socialist since he gets governmanet run healthcare? Are your parents or grandparents that recieve medicare or social security socialist. Do your parents worry about losing the benefits they payed for or are they worried the half black guy is president. Fucking Moron.
Sid, there you go again. You think you are so smart by posting long tirades about things that have NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS VIDEO? Post one freaking question at a time you moron or you will get no one to actually answer your long, repetitions, meaningless posts except me, to point out the moron you are appearing to be. Trust me, I gladly do this... :)
I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. To claim that you are your a fool. I never suggested I was the end all beat all. But my comments are directly related to this video. The CEO of Whole Foods made a direct comment about medicare for all. Split the hairs as you may, This is yet another end around to convince the public to continue to support a private monopoly that is the leading cause of bankruptcy in the US. 1/4 or our GDP.
Sid, my point to you was, doing throw every damn tool from your shed in one post and then expect someone to actually comment on your million questions that, again, have nothing to do with this video. This video is to show what some of your people think and why....it's your side that is doing everything they can to convince the public that the Single Payer option is the way to go and if someone does not agree with that notion then they are demonized by you people.
Sid said: This is yet another end around to convince the public to continue to support a private monopoly that is the leading cause of bankruptcy in the US.
No, it is not. There are reasons to not socialize the medical system here in the US. The other networks seem to only putting on why we should have a single payer system. You don't find that a little odd that everything you see and read on all the other Networks seem to be FOR Obama's Healthcare plan?

And they know that with no real reform, Medicare, Medicaid and low-cost medical insurance will be financially wiped.

waltermh111: What do you mean by, "Its ironic though, his business lives on liberals buying his expensive healthy stuff"? EVERYONE shops at Whole Foods.
TranCendenZ 2 years ago
I am sur that he has all spectrum of people shopping there, but if you look at the demographics of his locations, its generally liberal and even his site, at least used to if still doesnt, suggest that if people believe a Whole Foods would be good in their location, suggest it.
But the company works best in these area, and most of the list was liberal, especially how it does better in college towns.
We all know how conservatives think colleges are liberal brainwashing systems.
waltermh111 2 years ago
waltermh111 Mackey just lost his customer base. Republicans have no concern for healthy eating and healthcare and environmental health.
Yankhadenough 2 years ago
I doubt it, you present an absolute and reality is not comprised of absolutes.
There are some republicans who are concerned about each of those things.
Healthy eating is common to many demographics. Just that liberals tend to be the majority that work for such things.
Ever heard of conservative tree huggers? Usualy its conservatives complaining about them, but that doesnt mean there arent conservatives that care about environmental issues. They are just a minority.
waltermh111 2 years ago
waltermh111 Well, we know Mackey is a rightwing libertarian , so his interest in Whole Foods is obviously strictly profit-driven. He even discusses in his WSJ op-ed piece that his own employees "free" coverage has high deductibles. Did he really think we did not catch that in his op-ed?
Yankhadenough 2 years ago
Who is we?
I dont think he or anybody really means to trick anybody.
Personally I dont think liberals care what he thinks as long as he treats his employees right.
If most businessmen were like him I wouldnt distrust business so much and would be more inclined to a freer market.
I wouldnt boycott wholefoods for his views at all, because it wont change his views.
Though the protester in this video did say he wasnt trying to stop people from shopping, just inform them.
waltermh111 2 years ago
Healthcare, well, I dont see conservatives giving enough to some non-profit group that provides healthcare to working families that cant afford it so that they can stay healthy.
I didnt see them trying to reform the system til Obama brought it up either.
But it doesnt mean conservatives dont care about the health of others. They just dont offer solutions til the dems suggested them. And will stop offering once the dems stop.
waltermh111 2 years ago
waltermh111 That pretty much means only liberals will solve the healthcare inequities in America. Single Payer works in all other free societies.
Yankhadenough 2 years ago
I agree, at the least, it works better then our private system is working. It also works well for our congressmen, and apparently most of our veterans.
Cost seems to be a major problem, but while our HMO system is very profitable, its the citizens under those plans who are losing big financially.
Under a single player system, the government gets the burden and can raise taxes or find other revenue streams, but people dont go bankrupt from taxes so i would say its better financially.
waltermh111 2 years ago
Also, another thing thats ignored is that many other countries that have public systems also have privarte system to back it up.
If you want more specialised care you have choices then.
But the public system allows everybody the ability to see a doctor while their private system allows a more individualised care for those that can afford it.
Thats not a bad system to try.
Even then its not perfect, but nothing is, and it covers everybody and gives options.
waltermh111 2 years ago
Liberals wouldnt stop shopping at Whole Foods either way, its still a good company despite the CEOs views.
waltermh111 2 years ago
waltermh111 A lot of blogs have been spreading the boycott like wildfire, I have heard even on Whole Foods forum.
Yankhadenough 2 years ago
I just dont think it will make a difference.
Whole Foods is still a good company and honestly, without much competition.
We have central market in austin, and i guess wherever HEB is, but I dont think its as good as whole foods, and its not in every place that whole foods is.
waltermh111 2 years ago
This isn't true. Republicans just don't talk about it that much, because, well, it makes poor people feel bad because they can't afford the healthy food. And when poor people feel deprived, they tend to vote Democrat.
That's the difference between your typical rich Republican and your rich Libertarian. Libertarians are so blind to the messed up situation that they go rub it in people's faces, and get people upset.
wildgift2 2 years ago
wildgift2 I think typical rich Republicans rub it in people's faces too, look at Glenn Beck & William Kristol (neocon pundit of GOP) and this pundit b**** who is freaking out because SHE started with the question "Do you think he's a bad guy?"

WF's health plan is inferior to the health plan provided at larger mainstream grocery store unions. Though their premiums are 100% covered, there's a deductible, and coverage of their workforce is incomplete. So, mainstream markets cost less, provide better health insurance... and their unions support single payer. Go figure.
wildgift2 2 years ago
wildgift2: "WF's health plan is inferior to the health plan provided at larger mainstream grocery store unions."
