The first one was messed up in a good way, it looked like some freak of attraction brought them together, but seeing this one and especially the last scene its kind of scary that he does this every night with different women, like a psychopath. Especially his face in the last scene.
I seem to recall the original being rather playfully mysterious. This has a different vibe--more toward creepy. But then life isn't all fairy tale endings, is it? I'm afraid to ask if Jennie is even alive at the end. :)
@BGenerous You know, I just watched the first one for the first time in like 5 years. I forgot how sweet it was! This one is really nasty in comparison. I hope Jennie is OK at the end too. We might all have to wait another 6 years to find out.
