Yeah i have noticed that,the words are similar,the spelling is different,but i can make out most of what people are writhing in the Breton language,i still have to meet some one that speaks Breton,i would love to see if i could have a conversation in Breton,just to see how far apart the Breton language and the Gaelic languages are. just for curiosity,its amazing.

The bretons and franks settled modern France at the same time!!! BRETON HAS A VALID RIGHT TO EXIST AS MUCH AS FRENCH!

yes they are all celtic
but split into 2 groups linguistically Bretton, Welsh & Cornish (p-celtic) and Irish, Scottish & Manx (q-celtic)

Yes it wouldn't be similar to Irish or Scottish Gaelic but would be similar to Welsh or Cornish.
