Zavia literally means 'angle' (As in 90 degree angle would be called 'Navay ka zavia'). However zavia also means..... 'point of view' ( and here is is used in that sense). I hope it helps.
@tosikuai zavia ka matlab hai nazar ka zavia yani SIRAT-E-MUSTAQEEM, not 90 degree angle........ ashfaaq saheeb ek roshan sitara thy , jo ab ham main nai rahy, ALLAH un ko apni rehmat main rakhy
It is quite right that Muslims are not disciplined people. Take the example of the word DISCIPLINE and you will not find any exact similar word in our dictionary equivalents will be there but not the exact word. Because in a nation words are always created when we need them and when we do not need them we do not create them.
@baleno762 well the problem arises when Pakistanis or so called burgers of Pakistan dont even know their own language. For the discipline there are many words in Urdu but our modern generation seems to forgot their language and likewise they resort to bash their own language based on ignorance. The word نظم و ضبط is an alternative for Discipline and The Slogan of Unity, Faith and Descipline is known as ایمان. اتحاد ,تنظیم and all of these words are available in Our language Urdu.
I agree!!!! I loved his drama series on radio pakistan lahore when i was in high school in India..... it was "Talqueen Shah" if some one has it in audio or video ( I doubt it ) It would be grateful.... it was a humorous stair social political situations.
Today early in the morning, around 7:45 am I watched couple of these video clips and felt a sudden saddening at the demise of this great man. I had been misguided by some dirty youth that he is insane, Punjabi and blah blah. He was a fantastic person, a man to be listened, to be adored, to be respected and honored. Thanks a million for recording and then uploading this treasure to be beneficial for generations to come.
Baba Ashfaque Ahmed Sahib.............Allah Ap ko karwat karwat asaniyan ata farmay,Ameen. we found ourselves very fortunate to have you in our era.
you are a blessing to me.......................and how can i forget my first meeting with you baba sahib (that was on the road if you remember!!) wearing white Shalwar suit...
Ap bohat kuch apnay sath lay gaye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was use to watch this programme on Ptv every sunday and never liked it and basically never understood and felt boring. Now i am 19 and really need those lectures. He really has great knowledge.
dear brother its ur great kindness i m a fane of ashfaq ahmed sahib.infect i was looking and mising zavia.while checking my facebook as i write my faviourat programe zavia i say it was hilited and when i click u cant see the shining of my face.great effort bro may Allah bless u and May Allah rest his soul in jannat.thanks to u bro.
brother it is not complex.those who have insight has their own way of expression, baba jee is trying to make the point that we should be desciplined simply.
Ashfaq Ahmed Sahib is truly a legend and in his own words a BABA ...His thinkning and philosophy can really motivates whole of our nation in this era of difficulties
Great Program ever produced by PTV with the zeal and zeast of Late Ashaq Ahmed. Javeed Ahmed Ghamdi is filling the gap of Late Ashfaq Ahmed. His style of lectures was unique and superb! We Miss Baba Jee. If anyone wants to read Zaavia here is the link for soft copy, you can download for free.
ghamdi is a traitor to his religion a product of Musharraf's enlightened moderation or I'd rather say his main weapon for the so called enlightened moderation .. has absolutly no similarity with Ashfaq Ahmed
i don't care about any specific sect. neither do i think listening to ghamdi falls into the category of broader thinking. what Pakistan needs is Iqbal and the ijtihad (consensus) of Muslim scholars done in the past 1400 years. ghamdi twists the truth as he alone understands it no other scholar from any school of though agrees with this munafiq. and understand this lowest level of jhanam are for those so called Muslims leaders and scholars who lead their people astray.
I surmise this is a comment on Ghamadi. A 15 minute show a week on one of Pakistan's 80+ channels is hardly a ruthless projection. Quite to the contrary, moderate intellectuals like Ghamadi have drowned in a deluge of fake mullahs and fake liberals.
I would sincerely suggest please find yourself a better teacher. there are many out there especially on peace TV. A true Alim has an aura of peace and kindness around him/her. do not fall for this man's tricks this is not the first time Muslims have had these hertics between them. read about Iman Ghazali, abn arabi and their response to the the mutazaliities (heritics). we have to many great minds to learn from it would be sad if this guys following increases.
Of course there are greater minds than Imam Ghazali, Mohommad Rasool Allah (PBUH), so why do we worry about Imam Ghazali?
We do so because we need contemporary people, Ghazali was a great Imam of his time, but we need somebody who can guide us today. That is why we need guides from the present or the near past. Some people follow Taliban, we like Ashfaq Ahmed, Ghamadi and Tahir-ul-Qadri, suit yourself, just don't impose your opinion.
i agree with you on ghamidi, he is propogating all the ideas that the West and more specifically what the Jews are 'comfortable' with. And his astronomical rise to celebrityhood in the media makes you think who is behind all of this.
Respected Ashfaq Ahmed is so right in saying that we always ask for bigger thing,to achieve, result we forget those small things which might be of great importance. The truth is these small things lead to bigger goal.
May Allah swt be please with him and grant him jannah tul firdous Ameen!
something is wrong my video convertor...many friends have asked for missing parts but i've been unable to convert them...i tried to convert the missing parts countless times but to no avail...sorry for that
