i do have a question - do you have to plug the sound into the light or does it go on it's own from the sound around it? What does dmx mean - i'm new to this and want to get some lights!!!

The light has a built in Mic that lets it react to sound. DMX is format used to program light fixtures via a DMX controller.

We are going to get a couple of these lights (VUE 1), they are so cool.  I like your setup, it's great to see your system grow. We got those LX5 for small events, but noticed that we can use them at bigger events... LEDs are so bright. Great video.

Thanks for the vid. a question on your truss, I heard you say in another video that you bought your truss from zzounds so I got on to look at it and was just woundering how high it will go. they had that the truss would go to 80 inches and that's not quite 7 ft. just wounderin before I order one. I would like to have 9 ft high.

The one in the video is the one from zzounds. Only with the 5ft section in it here but it goes to over 10 ft maybe upto 12ft. It is still 99.99 and cost me $6 to ship. I know they still have them cause I just ordered one last week for my buddy with these vue's. It's called the Backline LS7730. Hope this helps-
