@ChunkUpDeuce It works both ways for me. I like working with iCal so I always enter my events there. Works great for me. You may need to refresh it to show up in google calendar. Right click on the calendar name in ical, then choose refresh.
@techteacher3 I'm think I know what @ChuckUpDeuce is asking and the answer is no. Rather than managing a cloud account through iCal is there a way to link 2-way syncing from the get go rather than exporting the calendar, deleting it then having to re-sync via Gcal. It just seems like a work around and not a real sync.
@dvsimone I set up my calendar first on google, then add it to iCal, just as the video demonstrates. I can add an event in iCal and it will show up in google calendar immediately. I can also add an event in google calendar and it will automatically show up in iCal, no exporting necessary. I do know that in our school district it is blocked so that I cannot use the iCal on my teacher computer, it won't do any syncing, I enter everything on my personal macbook at home.

Can you put your ical stuff on the Google calendar. The sync only works from Google to ical.
