When i saw this show a day later / DIO singing OZZY SONGS was strange / but i've grown to love it ! Especially on this song ! Love booth singers and the H.N.H songs / ALBUM IS GREAT, LOVED IT FROM DAY ONE ! Also saw MOB RULES show a year n half later liked that show better / love that album too ! THEY RULE !

A great example of an Awsome singer.While I prefer classic Sabbath as opposed to DIO Sabbath.Both are great in there own ways.Tony Ioome said that he did'nt want to call this line up "Black Sabbath" but the Record label insisted.This shows DIO can sing anything. Sorry but I really don't think Ozzy could cover DIO era Sabbath. RIP DIO

But its obvious that he and gezzer have allways thought of the band as Sabbath with Dio. the only one that never thounght of it that way was ofcource ozzy and bill, but who cares. it was tony and gezzer the main creators of the lyrics and the sound of sabbath not ozzy.

Love RJD massively and this a great performance but there are two great Sabbath line-ups. There is no comparison to be made between these line-ups; we are just lucky to have experienced two amazing bands with two amazing but entirely different front men. Not to be compared but to be admired as separate and incomparable entities. Iommi, however, is the one true guitar god. No comparison is viable, no argument is worthy. Best riffs, best 'blues' orientated soloist. Ever.

I'm not really that much into the way Ronnie sings the Ozzy era songs but I think this version of NIB is monster. The whole band really rips it up on this version. When you think about it, Sabb with Dio is a very different band than it is with Ozzy. I have always been a fan of the Ozzy version of Sabbath...

...but I love the Dio era version.

There is no need to compare them. Dio was hired by the main members of sabbath to front the band and he did. Little did Ozzy or anybody know that Dio was going to left his incredible mark in the band. Dio is a much better singer than ozzy. Ozzy would never be able to sing a Dio song, and Dio did fairly good doing ozzy songs simply cuz he is better vocalist by far!

Dio is great an all, but he just sounds bad when he tries singing the old sabbath catalog. That doesn't make Dio a shit singer, it just means those old songs are not his, and never will be.

@medicondrugs He wasn't the only founder of the band, and as far as I've heard, it's was a lot more about Geezer and Bill than Ozzy. Don't get me wrong, I love Ozzy, I still prefer to listen to his songs but take Iron Maiden for instance; Di'Anno was there since the beginning, Bruce is WAY better than him. But Dio was absolutely fantastic in Sabbath in different ways so it's not fair to compare them. They're are both awesome.
