@Deyyhayederaned I disagree; Homeworld 1 & 2 had very specific feels to their respective music and I personally don't care for anything not orchestrated. That's what the game had and it doesn't really hold the same value I felt playing these games.

The reason why is was more popular was because the Homeworld brand was more widely know at the point. Unfortunately this one isn't quite as good as the first because Sierra had Relic put the game out too soon.

Salvage Corvette. I missed it in two, replaced by the Marine Frigate in two. Those were hard to use. You rarely got many enemy fighters out of them. My favorite captures were the Kadesh vessels. As well as the ships around the wreckage right after Kadesh. Beam Frigates were some for the coolest vessels in the game. I really wanted to play with a Kadesh fleet sometime though. Those little fighters were fun like crazy, so long as noone breaks out the MGC's.

it's a fun space themed game but it has no campaign like homeworld. you can see some mild inspirations but it's completely different. It's a good game but the battles in HW felt more epic at the time

damn right, I saw some movies and the cartoonish graphic style drives me nuts. It's more like GC than Homeworld, even some H2 developers worked on it... I would've liked something more darker in theme and with a more epic feel (smth like eve-online, but single-player)

Actually I don't think Relic can (I may be wrong so don't take my word for it), because I'm fairly sure Sierra has the publishing rights. So Sierra can hire a differen't company to make another homeworld, thats just unlikely to happen. But I'll have to look into it.
