Hate to break to this everyone, but animals really dont have nationalities.

Her pedigree is; English / Irish parents, but she has more American blood in her than anything else and she was purchased very young and was raised and trained in Hungary, so Overdose is HUNGARIAN!

You American as in the Thoroughbreds that where sent over there origonally from The Uk and Ireland? All there TBs are from here anyway if you check there pedigrees right back to the Origonal Stallions. So dont think its rubbish to asume the truth lol!

so, you said, that they all come from England ... at least, but when you start with the fact, that the origianal once come from England, don´t forget, that the very original horses are arabian ^^ and, never the less ^^ the best TB come from Germany (with English bloodlines, okay) but they have made them to REALLY racing horses

Overdose is injured after being found standing on 3 legs he will probably miss The Temple Stakes.

Last saturday we seen the rival for Overdose this season, a English horse called Amour Propre who has smashed 2 course records at 5f in Britain and posted the fastest time of the Palace House Stakes in many a year, Henry Candy says it could be the best horse he has ever had, so I think hopefully we will have a great rivalry, if Overdose can't act on firm he could be in trouble by this fellow. The sprint division is looking fantastic this season.

Amour Propre will get his chance at Ascot. He had better be as good as you suggest, because Sacred Kingdom, although recovering from injury, is very, very special . Overdose is obviously outstanding, but he has been beating donkeys by big margins. Let's see how he goes when meets the best, with the pressure on from barrier to post.

@nadkrisz nincs jelentősége.Ez a ló nem is fut,hanem repül,három lábon is zsebre tette volna a mezőnyt,három hossz hátránnyal is...ez a ló száguldani és nyerni jött erre a világra,mi pedig szerencsések vagyunk hogy ezt megélhetjük.Én például nem vagyok már mai csirke,de pl.Imperiált szívesen megnéztem volna ...ma már ő is csak emlék,de itt van nekünk Overdose...

I'm reluctant to rain on the parade of this blossoming tale, but Overdose could win 100 races, and not really make a dent in the international sporting world unless promoters drop the nationalistic pride and invite Engliush and other more prominent languages into this. It's just that simple; it's fundamental business sense. If they really want to do the story justicve, they'll follow my advice, right across the board. It's not sacrificing culture, it's enriching culture.

62 kg felszereléssel, de ha megnézted, minden más ló zsokéja könnyebb volt, a felszerelésről meg annyit, hogy egy ilyen nyereg 20-30 deka, sztem a kobakja nehezebb a nyeregnél...

Soumillon nem lehet 62kg, mert a teljes teher amit Overdose vitt volt 62kg. Az nyereggel, meg minden felszereléssel együtt volt 62kg.

Azt hittem, hogy a zsokék könnyebbek!? Én 59 kg vagyok és mindig azt hittem, hogy túl nehéz lennék zsokénak, de Dózi zsokéja(Christophe Soumillon) 62kg! Egyébként ez a ló egy Isten, szívesen megnézném Angliában+ a többi külföldi derbin is, ha lenne most rá pénzem, de sajna nincs :( Szerintem a története nagyon hasonlít Phar lap történetéhez, őt is potom összegért vették és nem fűztek hozzá reményeket és mégis klasszis lett belőle! HAJRÁ DÓZI! GO DOSI!
