I can't knock those motors. I had one i bought brand new and used it on an 8' portabote. Tohatsu is one of the nicest outboards you can buy. That motor is pushing that pontoon along just fine but remember that it has only half the horsepower of a standard lawn mower.

Nice pontoon boat, but I wouldn't want to be out on the lake on a choppy day with it. Bow looks kind of close to the water.

that is a sweet pontoon boat you would use bugger all fuel with that set up.
