That was BBC standard, if not more. but honestly, I'm at a loss to understand how anyone could like The Planet of Fire, not that it's my buisness to wave my opinions about but, I abseloutly hate that story. I'm just interested, what is it that others like about it. Actually, I think the main reason I hate it is because I despise the whole idea of Kamelion, silly thing, and maybe that's made me slightly predejuced?
@SuperRichi1A Personally, I like "Planet of Fire" for about 4 different reasons:
1. It was the last Turlough story. I liked Turlough, and I was sad to see him leave. However, he got to go back home, which is something he'd wanted to do ever since his first appearance in "Mawdryn Undead".
2. It was the last Kamelion story. I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I actually liked Kamelion. In theory, Kamelion was a good character. The idea was good. In practice...not so much.
@SuperRichi1A 3. It was Peri's introduction story. Now, I am DEFINATELY in the minority, but I liked Peri. Sure, she was whiney and annoying for most, if not all, of her appearances, but her chemistry with the 6th Doctor is what I liked about her.
4. The Master. I LOVE Anthony Ainley's version of the Master! He is so cool! Plus, he is, to date, the longest-running version of the Master, having first appeared in the closing seconds of the 1981 story "The Keeper of Traken"...
@SuperRichi1A ...and making his last appearance (albeit, in sillouette and played by Gordon Tipple [though one assumes it is the same version of the Master as was played by Anthony Ainley]) in the 1996 TV Movie.
Fair enough. Some good reasons. I can't say I personally agree with all of them, but I can certainly see where you are coming from. I liked Turlough too. But not in this story. He really seemed to have a temper in this one.
Oh! Anthony Ainley was fantastic, brilliant! Derek Jacobi could have been as good as him I think - if he had stayed longer. And, Anthony was involved in the movie. He filmed a couple of TV shorts for the BBC. Great guy :)
@SuperRichi1A I dislike Planet Of Fire, not cos of Kamelion (cos he was cool!!!! :p), but because it is soo boring. Aside from one marvellous shot in Episode 1 ;) the rest of the story is pretty pants aside from Peter Davison's acting.
how do you remove music from video's? i hate needing to find parts of an episode without music to make trailers :L

Nice work, but I think the music and audio levels could have done with a tweak. Very enjoyable though, keep it, up.

Very good, you need to tell the BBC to get you making the trailer. :-D

So, those are my reasons.
