  • 2000 miles - bittersweet memories - as, for several years, that's about how far away my sweetie lived. As we're no longer together, it's moot now - at least I can hear it these days without tearing up.

  • you could be the next american idol

  • ......?

  • Lol Joe...not too many words to remember - my kind of song as my brain seems to have gone awol in the memory department! Good stuff..keep 'em coming lol

  • the original version on the 66 (67?) Christmas record is SEVERAL MINUTES LONG - with the same lyrics over..

    and over...

    ...and over..

my favorite Christmas song by them is "Everywhere its Christmas". I forget which Christmas record that was off of. 1965?

  • [D]Christmastime is here again, Christmastime is [D7]here again,

[G]Christmastime is here again, [D]Christmastime is here again,

[A7]It's been 'round since you know when.

    [D]Christmastime is here again,

    O-U-T spells "[A7]out".

Christmastime is here again, Christmastime is here again,

Christmastime is here again, Christmastime is here again,

It's been 'round since you know when.

    Christmastime is here again,

    O-U-T spells "out".

  • Joe, one of my favorite American bands is from Jersey. Yes yes yes, it's the Feelies! :-) Along with The church, Rem, U2 and a bunch of other bands. (many of which are on your favorites list that I just checked out last night) I'm an idiot for never having checked out your You Tube site. I'm just kind of a computer tard. At any rate, I love most of the bands on your list dude! It's amazing how similar our musical tastes are. Reading your list was like a musical trip down memory lane.

  • Dude....Joe.....do a cover of Do They Know it's Christmas Time Again :-)

  • Yikes!

  • 2000 miles that IS.

  • You're very cool Joe :-) Nice job. I normally hate most pop Christmas songs (Cep't for 200 Miles by the Pretenders) But this was really great man! You made it sound kind of white man bluesy and yet melodic. It probably didn't hurt that I smoked a tiny bit of weed first. Where are you originally from Joe?

  • New Jersey! LOL!

yeah, this is actually in a Beatles songbook mate - awesome huh? The songs turned up most recently on a Ringo Christmas Album, but it was cut for a Beatles fanclub Xmas record back in 1966 (!)

I'm passing out. Need some tea. Be well!

is 200 miles a Christmas song? that has a REALLY nice guitaR PART
