if you're sure, it means that you missed up with the hacktivating part or somewhere else

Guys, this video is complete garbage. He lied to us and said that this is all we have to do. The reason his is working is because he's a developer or he paid someone. This method does not work, and you will end up with iOS 5 WITHOUT notification center, multitasking, and inactivated. AKA you're much better off staying with iOS 4.3.3, because this is pure garbage.

@fanckush I watched the WHOLE video at least 5 times this afternoon, and restored my iPhone at least 10 times. Not one was successful. iTunes 10.5 Beta 1 wouldn't even install it, that was your first mistake. Once I figured out that iTunes Beta 2 worked, it seemed to install fine. I jailbroke it and bypassed the activation like you said. After that I rebooted with RedSn0w and once again bypassed activation. Then I got iFile and edited the .plist file just as you showed. After reboot notifcations
