  • What are the word to the song?

  • @AnthonyDubya The words are: Ashreichem Yisroel! Lifnei mi atem mitaharin? Mi lifnei m'taheir es'chem? Avichem shebashamayim!... V'yomer, 'Mikveh Yisroel HaShem', ma mikveh m'taheir hat'mei'im, af Hakadosh Baruch Hu mi'taheir es Yisroel.

  • zeyer shine

  • what are the lyrics?

  • He's speaking in Yiddish, as most Chasidim do amongst other Chasidim, not Hebrew.

  • he's talking in yiddish, not hebrew

  • Do you know Hebrew? Your translation of the words don't show it...

  • review: The Lubab Rebbe was a far better speaker, however, this guy has him beat with the shiney coat. I'm not sure about the white panties.... Definitely the Bobover's have the lubab's beat on fashion... Rebbe struts his stuff pretty well, but general congregation don't have the fly moves, however like the "frumke wave"... I give them 3 stars...

  • But they don't have the lubabs beat as far as creating their own religion.

  • oy veil !

  • Ich merke gerade wieviel Deutsch in der Yiddishen sprache ist. Sprechen die meisten von euch auch Deutsch?

  • Yiddish is a middle German language. I'm not sure anyone knows that. Most would be confused because Jews speak it and Yiddish uses a Hebrew derived alphabet, but these are descendants of German Jews who speak a language that is a Hebrew version of German. I'm not Jewish but am interested in linguistics, specifically Germanic.

  • The departure of Yiddish from German is very similar to that where the Amish did. My father could speak quite well with Amish in Pennsylvania.

  • yours is a common misconception. yiddish has developed NOT FROM GERMAN BUT PARALLEL TO IT. after the destruction of the second temple large group of hebrews went to western europe. hebrew was considered too holy to use for everyday, so they embraced a local dialect and adapted it. yiddish is as old as english.

  • B"H

  • zei gebensht!

  • The Rebbe said: BE UNITED! All like one!

  • So, can somebody translat for Rebbe is saying for us "fryers", please.

  • ils sont beaux beli ain ara mes freres puisse d''' les multiplier ...

  • wonderful music! :)

  • This is FUNNY! With an ctual straight face, he's talking about the importance on "achdus". Am I the only one who clearly sees the phoniness oozing from him?

  • Speaking on the importance of Achdus is phony? He would invite you to his home and give you a place to live while you studied in the shul even if you were some kind of mutant as long as you were K'lal Yisroel. He means what he says, can you say you would do the same?

  • Der Rebbe zol kein mikrofon nit banutzen. Zein shtimeh zol zein gut genug.
