  • Top, top band- my all time favourites-they should have got a lot more recognition. Many happy memories dancing to this, midnight groovin' etc.

  • J.F.M It was! Thank You x

  • @debbiejbentley jfm was the music station of the time

  • Without doubt the best live band I ever saw play at Wigan Pier....they brought the house down....especially when this was played!

  • Havent seen this clip for so long, was such a pleasure workin with the boys in those early years.True raw talent, they made same top Brit Jazzfunk classics :-)

  • I have got perfect pitch and musical recall. I can tell you that they are singing live but the backing track is recorded! No live performance would match the studio album perfectly like this does!

  • My Brother Stefan was their roadie !

Used to go to the gym with Baptiste (the sax player) Great Band ,

    TUBBS !!! BIG UP r.i.p.

  • @laur51 Here, here, I was very sad to hear of his passing in the Netherlands a few years ago. He was a big influence on me buying a Bass Guitar, and forever practicing. His style was effortless. 'BIG-UP' Paul 'Tubbs' Williams, never forgotten among true 'Funkateers'.

  • Best live band I ever saw at Wigan Pier Night Club back in the very early 80's

  • i've got the 2cd anthology, too!! i've never let it leave my stereo..just about every track is a fast paced funk fest!!

  • i still got this on 12inch....I used to fancy Everton!!

  • good this init???????

  • There's Jean Paul "Bluey" Maunick, pre-Incognito!

  • Got the Anthology disc, a couple of years ago, won it on Solar radio, Sky channel 0129. Got the original on a couple of eighties compilations.

  • I'm from the UK and the music that these guys produced changed my life as a musician and I've never looked back since. R.I.P. Paul "Tubbs" Williams, you were one of the baddest bass players to walk the face of the earth.

  • this is absolutely amazing!

  • Damn! Shades of early Confunkshun, Mass Production and Kool and the Gang. That's the REAL DEAL right there.

  • there's loads of them... its like a funk army... classic floor filler though

  • you just couldnt listen to it without stamping your feet... funk at its best
