My old laptop stopped working, but the hard drive is fine. I have important documents in that hard drive, so my question is: If I install this old hard drive, will I have to format it?

Try checking Newegg for the 1TB 12.5mm drives

@lasggg Try ebay, they have everything lol the 12.5mm hard drive is a 1TB and up hard drive made by western digital.
