This Cadillac was built and engineered for American driving conditions, not European roads with their unlimited speeds.I'll take American luxury and comfort over harsh riding, and hard as brick seats any day!You might get there before me,but I will have been the one who better enjoyed the trip, rested and relaxed, and best of all, pampered!
@TheMaz1964 i believe those were the jumpseats. teh backseat is there at teh rear window. my uncle in indiana had one of these as well. i thought the fold up seats alone were awesome.
@granddadpsycho: Yep. Now that's a car. Even if Detroit truly withers away and dies, this will be the legacy.........long-lasting, and reliable cars........like your friend's Caddy.
Beautiful Series 75! I did a double take when I first watched this vid, wondering why the car had a '62 rear end and a '61 front. I then noticed that the grille and cornering lamps are '62 model year correct, so indeed it is only the front bumper that's from a '61. Great car anyway, incorrect bumper or no.
Well I really like old cars; even its only a dream for me to have a car like that. If I have been born in another time and place like the 50`s or 60`s I should have own a car like that. But I also admire Mustangs Great Cars. This is perfect too 1962 Fleetwood limo.
The front Bumper on this car is WRONG, This car IS a 1962 Cadillac 75 Series Limo But the Bumper is off a 1961. Still a nice car, but not the correct bumper. This is an easy fix, just find a 1962 caddy bumper and change it.
Cadddydriver You are right on target. It is also great of You to advise them to just change the bumper. I have a few Cadillacs That I Show. I am not real versed in U Tube, but if you go to OMA PRODUCTIONS . com the 62 cad is one of my cars.
ruffitix just one? there were 900 Of them made. I own Two of them. They are to Me an example of the most beautiful automobiles ever built. If you really enjoy this cadillac try and find a copy of a Film named " Pride in the Possession ".It is a 1962 Cadillac Film that was made by Cadillac. I need a convertable to complete My collection. best regards
Beautiful car! I just bought a very very rough 62 Caddy limo. How come the turn signals in the front bumper are round and mine are square? Are those the fog lights I hear about?
I do believe that's a front bumper off a 1961 as you can see the front side cornering lights just don't fit square and have a gap. The 61 had only the finned bezel as Cadillac could not get the ok from the federal safety guys to ok this option until 62. They wanted to make sure this option did not glare into drivers eyes but as you can see on todays newer cars glare is a problem. Cornering lights that is.
ill give you16 for it

@Bad66Chevelle454 my '62 series 62 had the lower bumber lights that doubled as fog lights, not sure if it was an option or not...
