    I'm comin' Doc!!

  • You know, theres a diffrence between sidewalk and that piece of shit built to make people fat.

  • it might be the fastest moving sidewalk, but people still push the limits of speed!!

  • cool that makes a good treadmill

  • nerd

  • you seem kinda slow seeing everyone go past you

  • If its so fast, why do you have to walk???

  • @MrBawsaq Because it's a WALKway.

  • for the airport ones.... they should start with a slow one and then possibly a transition in the middle that goes up to 15mph or even 20mph.... the key is in the transition, the start and the end

  • @me2goodfoyou yea this would be impossible.

  • @me2goodfoyou Robert A. Heinlein wrote about that in "The Roads Must Roll" (max speed 100mph). Isaac Asimov "borrowed" the idea in "Caves of Steel" (only 60 mph top speed). Unlike today's moving sidewalks, travelers would move from side to side to reach faster or slower strips, standing still when they reached their desired speed. Only rowdy teenagers would run on them, playing a kind of speed tag that could result in injury or death if you fell or knocked people over into adjacent strips.

  • @RMoribayashi this seems quite interesting ;)

  • 9 Kmph = 5.59 MPH

I'm thinking 10 KmPH wouldn't be unreasonable. Just under six-and-a-quarter MPH.
