i think your doing good,compared to what pedals your using,those pedals you got there we're my first ones,and i gotta say,they suck,so doing what you do might not be hard,ut good compared to pedals....
I play axis over 3 years. To be honest I struggle to play these kind of patterns with Axis... Axis is great for playing 16th notes for the longer period of time. Maybe youll be surprised I achieved the highest tempos with Duallist (2 singles) then Mapex,,,and then axis...
i play with my whole feet on the pedal. i find it easier than playing it half way or back of the pedal. i use the same technique as flo moniour of cryptopsy. it was a technique i discovered for myself when i started playing drums 1 yr ago.
joey jordison plays dbl pdl like that...but evn further back...its insane...i always do it a lil past halfway and wen i try doing it closer to the bas the hrader it is...for me atleast
Thats different how you play so far back on the pedals. I will post a video tomorrow with the camera focused on my feet, subscribe to my videos so you can watch when I post it.
You are awesome man, how long did it take you to reach the point where you're at now with your drumming, especially your feet? Thanks!

Any professional drummers here can tell me how to improve our footwork ? and our leg muscles to do more double bass drumming.
Deathstudy 2 years ago
@Deathstudy no pro's needed..
two things, train your leg's.. by running or whatever, and practice your double bass drumming.

it's a hi-hat pedal that is cheap and effective? you don't need like a $200 hi-hat pedal if you use it one time in a million
