at the near end of this video,see how its color looks?well in person the color is much brighter in color and darker in a way,,,the camera messes it up...ive seen a close up ufo change color as it made a design in light on its surface then it burst into space from just off of the ground...i got a super good look at it..they are real and ive seen more than just that one ufo...the classic discs are real as well,tho i only seen one classic disc and it was close enough to see in the windows tho dark

Because it's just a camera artifact - called a circle of confusion, with characteristics dtermined by the lens design. It happens because they are too close to the camera and therefore out of focus. There are some questions yet not explained. What kind of objects can just appear from nowhere, change direction and so on. I dont claim to have the answers in this case, only the conclusion that we actually dont know what kind of objects this is.
There are quite many good footages of flying crafts, saucers, cigarr shaped object, triangles or what have you. Then add the fact there are hundreds of radar confirmations, in some cases with pilot confirmations. The add highly credible ex millitary and officials confirms this phenomena.

This footage does not show a good evidence, there are other far musch better. Seek for "shooting stars" or "ufo circle above africa"
it only is dust or small parts close to the cam... the "passing behind" could be a camera optical illusion caused the the high contrast between the black background and the whity shinny antenna. Chec 0:49 where camera changing focus. The object passing over the tether gets smaller into its real shape and tether gets bigger. This is the proof that the obects you see are all debris flying close to the camera. If the came had a nearer focus you would absolutely see the objects on their real shapes.

It's actually impossible for them to travel in straight lines. Name a single object which can travel in a straight line in the presence of earth's gravity without propulsion? The Shuttle can't, not a single man-made satellite can, and neither can the moon. People who claim otherwise don't understand basic Newtonian physics or Kepler's laws. They assume gravity is zero, and space is a vacuum in LEO. Both completely false!
What you should be doing is looking for objects which defy gravity and can overcome other forces like aerodynamic drag, because they MUST be self-propelled and under control. It's ironic that your assumptions lead you away from real objects of interest, while leading you be suspicious of objects which behave naturally. Sadly, the vast majority of UFO followers make the same mistake.
Why don't you notice that all objects which curve, do so only once, and always head towards earth as gravity dictates?
Why also do you never realise that a 2D representation of 3D changes a naturally curved trajectory into a variety of alarming looking course changes depending on the angle of the camera it?
BTW the video poster is WRONG. You cannot possibly estimate distance without optics based calculations. No depth information exists this video.

If there was no atmosphere, then all objects would just stay in orbit. But there IS an atmosphere (look up the MSIS model), which means that atmospheric drag is present. This means that objects with different mass and drag coefficient will be affected differently. The shuttle is massive, particles are not, and since a=F/m, lower mass and higher drag means greater loss of altitude.

at the near end of this video,see how its color looks?well in person the color is much brighter in color and darker in a way,,,the camera messes it up...ive seen a close up ufo change color as it made a design in light on its surface then it burst into space from just off of the ground...i got a super good look at it..they are real and ive seen more than just that one ufo...the classic discs are real as well,tho i only seen one classic disc and it was close enough to see in the windows tho dark

the tether is 12 miles long, you can CLEARLY see one of the objects pass BEHIND it at the north point, estimated size is AT LEAST 2km wide. we DO NOT have space junk 2km wide, not even half km wide. you people that dont believe this, do not WANT to believe this, it doesnt fit in with your idea on life you've had all your life. My thoughts too ! Also, if the tether is used as a guide to measure the diameter of the disk, by the same reasoning, the disk can be used to gauge the width of the tether. This would make the width of the tether approx half a mile. How do get a tether that size into the shuttle bay. Please dont say "they roll it up" Something is not right here !!!

Because it's just a camera artifact - called a circle of confusion, with characteristics dtermined by the lens design. It happens because they are too close to the camera and therefore out of focus. As for what IS in the description, it's a wall to wall carpet of misconception that i'm not nearly masochistic enough to take on.
I will point out though that the tether was less than a half-inch in diameter. The apparent thickness that you see in the video is wider than the shuttle—hell, wider than the whole fleet! (Remember that that piece was 12 miles long.) The notion of being able to discern its edges is non-starter. It's like trying to pick up water with chopsticks.

The "doughnut" shapes look a lot like I would expect a spinning (manmade) satellite to look.

They're alive.I think the rods are too.They're just things that the human eye can't see usually.which means that 99% of ufo sightings are probably those. Then they seemed to join and separate, then join and separate, then pretty soon there were four. Almost as if they split (like cells) into four. I wasn't alone and my friend and I were just completely in awe.I never told anyone about it until I saw these same things here on the NASA videos. They are alive. I have seen these myself from earth. The atmospheric conditions have to be just right. They dance around as if they are alive, which they probably are. It was just before dawn, it had been raining most the night and was just clearing, the moon was setting behind us. I looked up at the sky and there were two darting around out from behind a cloud and back behind it. Then back out. Sometimes just beyond a cloud where you could see the light they emitted continued......

yeah dude, you should check out the one where they highlight the line of travel, truly strange. Thats not human made, they can't be ice particles/gas particles or anything like that, some are extremely large, and they all have the donut/notch look, Nasa has really gotta tell us whats up there, im tired of they misinformation crap noone believe anymore. don't you agree?

Why does everyone who thinks this is just debris, only explain the pulsating and optical illusion of the objects going behind or in front of the tether?! Why don't they explain the fact that they change directiion? Exactly, they dont know how it's possible these things change directions.. These things aren't fuckin'space debris, face it.

This is one of those very rare, extra special, oh so generous and wish they were even more generous moments where NASA actually shows us actual UFO footage of actual UFOs! It's true that this is considered one of the greatest pieces of true UFO footage on this planet, but very few people know about it, appart from the odd UFO follower and scientist here and there. It is a shame that they don't show us more UFO footage.

My simple comment generated a hard debate before, I'm here to clarify some things, as ufologist.
Sometimes some facts fail on the scientific method filter. Ufology MUST base on science, otherwise we will always being viewed as "little green man believers".
This footage does not show a good evidence, there are other far musch better. Seek for "shooting stars" or "ufo circle above africa"

it only is dust or small parts close to the cam... the "passing behind" could be a camera optical illusion caused the the high contrast between the black background and the whity shinny antenna. I want to belive in intelligence out there.. but i will not belive in little lights filmed in bad quality that can be everything.

The tether have 12 miles and some people speak about debris!!!...only giant debris whith inteligence ,atention many objects pass behind the tether open yor eys 2 of the objects stop and go to oposite direction...skeptical but not irracional

Chec 0:49 where camera changing focus. The object passing over the tether gets smaller into its real shape and tether gets bigger. This is the proof that the obects you see are all debris flying close to the camera. If the came had a nearer focus you would absolutely see the objects on their real shapes.

It's actually impossible for them to travel in straight lines. Name a single object which can travel in a straight line in the presence of earth's gravity without propulsion? The Shuttle can't, not a single man-made satellite can, and neither can the moon. People who claim otherwise don't understand basic Newtonian physics or Kepler's laws. They assume gravity is zero, and space is a vacuum in LEO. Both completely false!

What you should be doing is looking for objects which defy gravity and can overcome other forces like aerodynamic drag, because they MUST be self-propelled and under control. It's ironic that your assumptions lead you away from real objects of interest, while leading you be suspicious of objects which behave naturally. Sadly, the vast majority of UFO followers make the same mistake.

Why don't you notice that all objects which curve, do so only once, and always head towards earth as gravity dictates?
Why also do you never realise that a 2D representation of 3D changes a naturally curved trajectory into a variety of alarming looking course changes depending on the angle of the camera it?
BTW the video poster is WRONG. You cannot possibly estimate distance without optics based calculations. No depth information exists this video.

@MoronAntidote you are wrong,this vid speaks for itself..if what u say about gravity in ur above post is correct then all objects should be falling in the same direction since the shuttle is so close to earth when in fact its the opposite of what you said that is going on here,,also about ur curve once theory,,its also wrong,if it was the lens causing this it would happen much more than it did...you have a slight idea of what ur even talking about and its far from correct,,rewatch the video

I can't make sense of your post sorry.
If there was no atmosphere, then all objects would just stay in orbit. But there IS an atmosphere (look up the MSIS model), which means that atmospheric drag is present. This means that objects with different mass and drag coefficient will be affected differently. The shuttle is massive, particles are not, and since a=F/m, lower mass and higher drag means greater loss of altitude.
