The BASE model mustang is just as powerful (but will be faster than) the TL (TL SH-AWD is 1800 kg, mustang BASE is 1500kg). I see what you are saying, but pound for pound, a new stang would beat out both the TL and TSX.

@drewtube856, don't look now, but the new V6 Mustang will destroy every car you mentioned, including your V6 Accord. Ford raised the power tremendously on the 2011 V6 Mustang. It's almost as fast as the 2010 V8 Mustang.
I am impressed Ford has been making some good shit for the past 4 years. I was impressed to see the Horsepower even the 3.0 Fusion put out it was 222 not bad.

Actually...ford as a company could not have outlasted companies such as GM if not for sales on the v6 mustang....and just like any car...you'll get what you pay for...i bought a v6....why...because for the price of a GT of the same year...you can procharge a v6 (including the purchase price of the v6) and make more wrhp...making it a more cost per HP ifficient vehicle....again stock for stock they are on the slow side...but take to modding quite well...
