Well the book says that Ida adopts Bo, Prop, and Hornet. And the movie hints that Hornet and Prop are together, as shown in the ending. So if you put those together, isn't Prop girlfriends with his sister? o.o loljusssayin. The movie is great though! Thanks for uploading it! (;

@thatcherperson1221 Well, although it is a children's book, and it's a very fairytale kind of story, the way it's written gives it a completely different tone than the movie does. The way it is written gives the story much more magic in a kind of beievable way, although it sounds like a contradiction. It describes the character's gestures PERFECTLY and paints Venice so beautifully! At least the way my head translated the words it's a much more magical and moving story than the movie creates. :)

However, some movies are so badly based in the original book that make people disappointed (that's what happened when I watched Eragon the movie ¬¬ it isn't so bad if you don't compare it with the book but.. it was a total disaster! They haven't made the follow-up movie so I guess that people think like I do)

Hm, Prop and Hornet...I can't say I anticipated that from reading the book, but they're cute. :)

I think Rollo Weeks has a bit of a young-looking face for playing the older Scipio, but he's just SO perfect for the role - and besides, it would be terrible if they had another actor playing the grown-up Scipio, we would lose the effect of it being "still him".

Anyway, I love the book and the film. Thanks for uploading! :D

They only wanted Bo. I don't remember if a specific reason was ever given in the book, but I imagine it's because Bo is young and adorable and Prosper is....well, not. :P They shipped Prop off to boarding school and kept Bo as the book starts.

This was a pretty good movie! I was surprised that I actually liked it! Thanks so much for the upload!! An epilog would have been so awesome! The hedgehog kid could have fixed his teeth, Skip could have cut his hair (was he looking like Jacob from Twilight to anyone else?) and maybe even a kiss between hornet and Prop! =D I was always disappointed that nothing really happened between those two in the book.
