But i like, when he would stand for 1-2 days:)

  • is there anything that can be used to replace the taste of the sweet peppers?

  • you just put sugar in there and then you mentioned no sugar at the end?

  • @cookieboy15 at the end, while they are tasting it, they comment that *no more* sugar is needed.

  • wooooooooow

    love being vegan

  • Really looks good!! Nice video!

  • My favorite borsch!!!!

  • Lots of ingredients here not really traditional ukrainian borscht (lima beans, tomatoes, peppers), however I'm sure it's good, very healthy dish. She uses a LOT of cabbage. Whatever yo do, just make sure that everything is very finely chopped as they have done here, texture is pretty important.

There are tones of varieties and ways to do this, so try different ones...I usually saute the onions and cabbage before putting them in. And yes takes a while, but lasts you for a week or two.

  • woah.... it takes soooo much longer to make borscht than I originally thought O_O

  • YYYUUUUMMM!!!!!!!! This looks so good. I love borscht. Will definitely make this.

  • OMG

that looks like it smells (AND tastes) AMAZING!!

that's a buttload of borscht though! how many does it serve? lol

    is this in your cookbook?

  • it is amazing! yeah, that was a lot of borscht we cooked but we had a big party that day! :) The recipe that serves 10 is in our Cookbook, so please do check it out! We appreciate your support!

  • This recipe is great, although I would seriously recommend to eat the Borscht with cream, it's almost doubles the taste.

  • Did this several months ago...great color, concept and taste beyond the Winter Moon....bon appetite.

  • LOVE borscht, nice recipe... ;-)

  • Romanian borsh ( not borscht ) is very tasty too. All the balcanic food is tasty but it is hard to find the right vegetables here in America.

  • Wonderful stuff.

  • ммммммм БОРЩЕЦ

  • i wish we had smell vision, i am hungry again hehhee...; )))*****

  • This is the best food ever !!!!

  • we agree wholeheartedly! :)

  • You said no sugar and no salt but you did put sugar in the beets and salt in the potatoes.

  • they are saying that no more sugar or salt is needed as they taste it for the first time

  • Drink the soup?? We usually do it with spoons in Russia :))

  • No worries, we do eat it with spoons here, it is just easier to taste this way.

  • Beans in the Borsch?? OMG, for that? :))

  • Looks yummy

  • I bet you would never get sick if you ate that soup on a regular basis. So colorful!

  • I would love to eat it but I can't be bothered to make it.

  • I'm going to use this recipe but add beef and 1/4 cup of marijuana flour!

    Schmecht!

  • haha Hell Yeh, put like a whole cup though!!! lol

  • I am preparing a little differently

  • wow, quite a lot to do to make it

  • My goodness that looks delicious! Just one more thing fueling my want to go to Russia!

  • I am having Borsh right now. Im enjoying it so much. Delicious!

  • I always wanted to incorporate beets into my diet but didn't know any good recipes. I've never tried that borscht soup but I already know that I will like it..............mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!

  • OMG YUMMMMMMMMMM!

  • Zdrastvuitye Lara, I find once beets are cooked you don't even need to peel with potato peeler...it removes too much beet. You can push the skin right off with your fingers, without losing (wasting) too much of the beet flesh.

Try with Sunflower oil Bruce...pay homage to Ukrainian's National Flower!

    Борщ! nummy nummy! :-D

  • when i make a form of Borscht, and call it Purple Haze. I pre-peel the beets and cook them in some cheap but good Pinot Noir. Then i use purple cabbage, purple onion, purple carrot, and even a cherokee purple tomato. i also use some thai basil. i use the same spices

  • is the color of Purple Haze really purple? sounds wonderful! :)

  • purple enough. its hard to get my friends to eat beets. i usually have to sneak them into something. Like golden beets into a squash gnocchi ravioli.

  • you need an army with this stuff! I love Ukrain Borscht its so hearty! Top it off with some Soy Sour Creme

    приятного аппетита!
