To Khmu people, since Khmer and Khmu are closely relate why Khmu people learn Khmer written system and use it. Instead use Lao written system as daily use. I know Lao written system much easier since a lot of Khmu people are from Laos. To be appropriate, Khmu should use Khmer scripts. This is just my opinion. There is nothing against Khmu people.

That is the reason why it is not popular with the Khmu because it was not meant for the Khmu people. Someday they might have their own written language so that they can preserve their language.
