I loved this speech because its so "Carlsaganish" and he is my favourite writer and "spiritual guider" if science can have something like that. Im pretty sure the guys at treasure where thinking on something like that.
Yeah I agree, the bosses...jebus...sometimes I wondered if I was even doing any damage or maybe needed a specific weapon. End boss always has my hands shaking as I weave left and right from the bullets. But man did I nearly shed a tear when I saw the ending and the credits music, really inspirational.
shooting multipule shots at you is you keep your eyes on your ship and dogde (keep shooting, you eventualy hit him) until it's finished, and then blast away.
Silpheed is awesome

The ending's the exact same on the Sega CD version. The only difference is that there's a speech dedicated to the player before the credits.

even in 2009, this game's graphics are still revolutionary, I still cant believe that this game was made in 2000.
Same that working designs is out of business, i would love to see them make another game.
This is probably the hardest game I have ever played, period.
I am so glad to see the ending, even though I got so close but didn't beat it

that little speech at the end really hits home doesn't it?

I beat this game with and without PAR. Great game! Too bad Working Designs is out of business.

I love the music they used in this game

I Only beat this with the help of a action replay. And without it, i couldn't get past level 6 mid-boss.
Thanks for the upload man.

Is this different from the normal ending? I can't even get past level 3 on normal, so I'll never know...

The endings are the same for both difficulties. You're right though this game is freakishly hard.

It's not hard, it's mostly the bosses that
are hard. all you got to do when a boss is
shooting multipule shots at you is you keep your eyes on your ship and dogde (keep shooting, you eventualy hit him) until it's finished, and then blast away.

I beat it the first time I played it. A
few deaths yeah, but you learn. It's easy
to pick up on the bosses flight patterns.
there's nothing to it really.
