You can tell he is not totally insane because his lyrics are connected, and arn't complete random rambles. I'd never taken Tony seriously until I actually listened to 777. Not having the visual spectacle lets the music stand its own ground, and much of that music is just fantastic. Conversely the tracks you didn't like are the one's I caught as immediate standouts. In "John and Yoko" he effortlessly achieves what people like Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine spent careers producing ersatz versions of and lyrically throws out content Whitehouse spent years cultivating to provoke. Guy's a genius.

Unlike a lot of people on here......I am SOSOSOSOSOSOSO happy you reviewed tonetta. He is so creepy (in a tim and eric kinda way, which i love) but his music, despite the lyrical content that prevents me from listening to it in the car with my parents, girlfriend, co-workers, etc. Is awesome as well.
