  • Goodbye sweet Misa <3

  • I like the Japanese voice better... I am more used to it but I guess the english one is okay

  • all you gotta do is take a cup of flower add it to the mix!

  • @GarlandFraser Now just take a little something sweet (not sour!) A bit of salt, just a pinch.

  • In the japanese version image if u were alone in a drak place then mist come from the ground and u feel a chili and this song came on...X_x

  • @gaarasgrl10 totally

  • Why do people call me Misa just because I pigtail my hair and sing Japanese songs?!

  • Her English version seems to sing more powerfully. the Japanese one kind of talks a bit too quietly. So, the English is better at singing, but the Japanese is cuter.

  • I prefer the english version to the Japanese. She sounds nicer.

  • Misa is so cute, I pity her though, Light just used her but I'm glad he didn't kill her

  • @bossray7thtalis she dies in the last episode :P at the credits you see her about to commit suicide because light planned to kill everyone who knew of the note book.

  • I feel as if this song should have been in sweeny todd.... Love it though!

  • I Love This Song People Says It's Soo Creepy But Since Im A Horror Lover :3 Its Not Sacrey Too Me But Its Really Awsome Xx

  • I actually LOVE that English starts off A Capella. Makes it more...creepy. :)

  • how come no one uploads Misa's song in other languages? :P

  • I didn't like her that much and found her a bit annoying for most of the series, but I really feel sorry for Misa.

  • this music video reminds you that what misa is going through is horrible, and she does it all only for light. how traumatic would it be to know when people will die as soon as you see them?also, she kills people for love and she's slightly aware of the fact that it is wrong, but love wins over her mind and creates ignorance. as a conclusion statement, ignorance is bliss

  • Japanese is creepier, but the English voice suits her age... I don't know. They're both great! :D

  • Love it. The Japanese voice is perfect

  • JAPANESE VERSION RULES

  • I love this song in both languages! it is just so beautiful and sad at the same time...

  • LOVE it! I nearly cried when I heard this the first time!

  • This song always give me chills.....the good kind of course. lol.

  • did she go on a mass killing spree on her way to the top of the building

  • @KohakuKanji on ep 25, before L dies

  • she looks so grown up here! i love her dress, and shoes!

  • I think my replay button feels violated.

  • I like the English version better, but that's probably just because I understand it... 

  • The music in the Japanese version ruins the atmosphere. It would be better with just the voice.

  • @KohakuKanji its in the 25 ir 26 episode of death note

  • I like that Jap one better.

  • I can sing both versions, though sometimes I get stuck on on 'go oboete'.

  • its ashame ryuk killed her too snicker one less person to worry about lol

  • The original is far better for me.

  • (^o^) The Japanese version is way too cool!!!

  • 1:23 the start of the best version

  • i think i like the english version, but they are both nice. i like em both a lot

  • okay.... if you people know deathnote, why do you keep misspelling Ryuk and other characters' names?!

  • @lilanekochan because some people still get confused thinking he is ryuuk or ryuuku since in different versions of perts of the series it is spelled differently

  • @Nejihygo Um.. right, but Light asks her to give ownership again, remember?

  • Hmm but what is happening in this video is meant to happen after the episodes end right? If that is true then Misa shouldn't still have Shinnigami eyes because she gave the notebook away.

  • @Killuminatyi she bought them again remember? from ryuuk?

  • Hmmm, both versions are cool!

  • and notice that the japanese version has music playing in the background, in the english one is just her voice.. so yea

  • @Killuminatyi actually there's a piano playing in the background

  • I think the japanese version is better in every way ... voice, lyrics, and music itself

  • i hope this doesnt count as spam but in "death note 13 how to read" it says that Misa dies about a year after Light does (february 14, 2011)

  • I love these songs. I sing the English one to my younger cousin when she has trouble sleeping. She and her sister have to stay over at our grandparents a lot and Lexi is very scared without her father. So I sing this to her and she calms down. :)

  • @WriterzXBlock Lol that's awesome.

  • I prefer the japanese version by far. In the english version, she talks about how she'll learn, what do i do once i learn everything, that sort of thing. But in the japanese version, if you watch it with subtitles, is REALLY creepy. "Don't hang yourself by your hand in a dark alley", "He knows, so tell Him your sins"*flash of dead people*, "But what will I do if Heaven's doors are closed to me?". The song is actually called Misa's Song of Death.

  • for all misa fans..

just watch the frnt video on my channel..

i cannot put the link here, sorry..

  • what is the name of this song

    i have to know

  • @chicanime1000 Misa's Song/Misa No Uta

  • what was that song inbetween the two versions. By the way great vid.

  • @mimi9306

    It's L's theme song A

  • The japanese version was odd to me because of how young she sounds but still it evokes a totally different emotion than the english version so it was still awesome, thanks for sharing the vid!

  • I love this song<3 it is so beautiful :3

    and I like them both : D

  • i like the english version cause it is creapier and the lyrics are a bit different they make more sense to me and the voice sounds way older, the japanese version sounds like a 15 year old and its to breath-y in the japanese version after each line or word shes like -GAASP- then continues

  • i love this! ♥

  • personal I like both versions but I like the japanese a little more

  • tobi1480

the english is kinda different but i magnge

  • i can sing the japanese version, but not the english

  • i cant realy sing the japanese but i can sing the english XD

  • @tobiswife i wind up getting the lyrics and listening to the song reapetedly.

the english words are a little diferent to the japanese

  • i can sing both!

  • i like them both :)

  • I prefer the Japanese version.

  • Eh, I prefer the english version.

  • the english version has no piano in the begining but the japanese version does

  • the japanese 1 sounds younger than the english 1. but i like them both the same!

  • yeah..watch out for teh spoilers in the comments....

  • GREAT song *^^*

  • what ep is that from?

  • episode 25....... L died :( *sob*

  • SAD FACE :'(

  • the version in japanese is better :D

  • L's theme

  • it's and EGL outfit

this is like her funeral clothes

  • Because she can? :/

  • the english voice suits her better, At least thats what i think, Though she sounds cute in japanese ^^

  • @Kurolli AGREED!!!!

  • @Kurolli surely because her character is occidentalized like hell... xD

  • @TheFeatherFromBillsW Its from Deathnote.

  • she ends up killing herself sadly

  • Wow...this song is so pretty...and eerie...it gives me goose bumps.

  • Comment removed

  • I think this song is one of deep regret and pain mixed....not necessary about Light either,..more like regret at the fact that she is in fact denied entry into heaven, at the people she killed, and her shinigami vision in general...denying her a normal view of the world....

  • i love her shoes in this ep

  • what was dat pretty piano u had on there

  • what happens to her? does she die?

  • she does like a year after light's death it's in vl. 13 in her charecter file :D

  • oh ok. thanks! :D

  • Its so creepy, yet so pretty.

  • I would like to play this on my grandma's funeral....this is so pretty

  • The english singer is much better. does anybody know if there is an insturmental of this?

  • there is

  • I really like Shannon-Chan Kent in the dub. She captures Misa's character much better than Aya Hirano did.

  • you spelled Japanese wrong :p

  • ....... um ok that is so cool! im like the only one of my freinds that likes misa

  • no i like her. i just dont see why other people dont. theres nothing wrong with her. shes really cute and i like her personalty.

  • its spelled right....

  • omg im like retarded...where is the hidden message??

  • Japanese version is better but her vocie gives off such a creepy yet beautful vibe :D

  • wat episode does she sing this?

  • episode 25.

  • thnx ^_^

  • 25 I think ^^

  • episode 25

  • the japanese version is sooo OMJizzle

  • this song is so short but it tells SO much and there is SO much feeling in both vrsions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song is so verbally ironic because it can be understood in a few different ways. First, it sounds like she's singing to the victims of the death note because it's like Light's being referred to as God in the song. But then secondly, it's as if Light is the victim of the song, as if he is supposed to be careful of what he is doing. And lastly, this song also makes it look like Misa's questioning herself about her actions. :P

  • damn u really thought that through! exactly!

  • wow, good piont

  • @iAsian92 i love it when people anylize songs! it IS ironic! ^^

  • @iAsian92 dude that's poetic thinking. respect to the (92 year old asian?)

  • beautiful loved it

  • Mmm Japanese version is so sad and painful. Love it

  • Tubular Bells or L's Theme

  • I think I like the English version better... Her voice is so breathy in the Japenese version.

  • It's hard to properly sing with such a high voice, especially considering how Aya Hirano normally sings...

  • i like the japanese version better!

  • does this song have a name

  • misa no uta

  • its called Misa No Uta

  • goosebumps

  • yes my friend got them too

  • other thing two?/who can sining about someone u luv be creepy? iits kawaie and sad and it goes with what shes talking about like god wathcing like god was watching light...............a............didnt think about that one.........

  • lol no, light is god, and he is watching u to make sure ur not bein bad O.o or...he will kill u !! lol

  • lawl hes trying to be santa

  • I watched deathnote like 2 and the ending always made me cry ! and i luv the song misa sings!!!!! fucken AWSOME!!!!

  • japanese version is better ^^

    love it <3

  • both sound so awsome i dont know wether the english one is better or the japanese 1 XD

  • Simply Misa's Song, or "Misa No Uta"

I prefer the Japanese version... sounds creepier.

  • misa is so cute it is not even funny. I want her.......... but that is just me

  • i don't usually believe in chain comments, but this one is pretty cool. u don't need to do it, but when u read it, u might smile. :)

There are 20 angels in this world

    10 are sleeping

    9 are playing

    1 is reading this

  • luv it

  • I've had this a fav for awhile now... What I don't understand how you can say it's creepy??? As much as a seriously hate Misa, I love this song(Japanese is better^.^) Singing about your devotion to another isn't creepy!! For a much as Misa love Light is very rare to find in reality...It''s kinda sad.

  • I love the way that Misa is wearing a Gothic Lolita outfit! it is sooo cute! Her voice is soooo creepy and eerie! So she dies by jumping off a building...? fun... not really. thats a pretty sad death.

  • this is first time i can say english dub is better japanese =D

  • This song is so creepy (In a good way). I'm getting chills up my spine.

  • i like the english version better :)

  • WOW i love this song

  • LOL@Fanasonic

  • only time where the english dub matches the original.

  • this song always sends chills up my spine whenever I hear it.... 5/5 stars!

  • so sad

  • shivers up my spine....her voice is so haunting....i don't care what anyone says. shes beautiful and NOT a total psycho on the verge of insanity

  • I like the songs side by side for comparison. I hadn't heard the english version which I kind of like because I can understand it but I agree the Japanese version has more feeling to it.

  • this is the directors cut right ? because she forfits ownership of the death note so she wont remember but i think she dies in that outfit but yeah lol

  • No, this is just a lot earlier in the anime. it's the episode where L and Rem...die.

  • ooooooooooo thanks

  • and Watari

  • of course. I forgot. I'm sorry Watari! Such a kindly old man...

  • its not a directors cut
