When I was learning guitar and drums in the early / mid-sixties, this was one of the songs / bands that I heard / heard about. Did they play the San Diego area ? I know SOME band by that name did. In the last couple of years, I had wanted to contact George Semper and ask him if the Accents' version of "You Better Watch Out Boy" was inspired at all by the Shirelles' "Baby, It's You". Thanks for the comments about the San Diego funk bands in the early sixties, they were held in awe by me.
