Carl was the Beach Boys , He was everything Brian could never be , he was an amazing singer who from a very young age kept a most amazing band alive . I just wish I'd had the priviledge of seeing him live in concert
Loved Carl, especially the song "Darlin" which I was lucky enough to see him perform twice, once in 76 at Illinois State University and once in the 80s at the Illinois State fair. Great talent and the Beach Boys died with him in my eyes. It pains me to see them parade around the survivors and call them the Beach Boys....

I was blessed with an opportunity to sing half a show with The Beach Boys. The show ended and the crowd was demanding an encore. Bruce said something about having a sore throat. Carl smiled, looked over at me and said, " John can do it."

I met Carl twice!..Just as warm and friendly and talkative as you can imagine....and I was a stranger. I grew up on the Beach Boys...really..a gentlemen. Met his mom also..very nice woman!...miss ya!
Reunited at last. Dennis was waiting. they are still waiting. I don't wasnt the reat to go. Carl Dean Wilson. Dennis Carl Wilson. Rest In Peace. too young to go.
This is a very well-put-together video. However, if I could make a suggestion, I would hold the quotations on screen longer so we can read them without having to pause the video. :)

Beautiful. I met Carl years ago when he did a solo tour around 1980 or so. Humble, sincere guy. Left too soon.
