When it comes to autism, Jenny McCarthy is definately the one of the most stupid persons in the whole world. And all she said on autism has actually been disproven.
Being an aspie, I really have to say that I hate her. Not just for being that stupid, but mainly for giving people wrong hope and spreading a false message. She should just shut the f*** up.

She's a Playboy Model Not a Doctor so why is she the one that tells you how to feel about Autism?

"Curing" autism is about changing the outcomes for your child. It's to help them learn, live in the world and be independent. It isn't about changing the child. It is about hearing their voice for the first time. It is about NOT seeing them in pain, all the time. It is about discovering the unique gifts that were locked inside your child because he was unable to express them due to allergy, pain, sleep issues etc. You can't function at 100% if you hurt. That's what Curing Autism is about.

Someone's obviously been told wrong by profesionals. Ok yes if your child is non verbal then thats understandable but almost everyone with aspergers with the right intervention will succeed in life.

Let me make my point clear.
Autism is often not a bad thing especially asperger syndrome and hyper functioning autism. Autism does not need curing and if it is embrased then it basically is a gift.
I am not saying that treatments are wrong, i'm just saying curing autism is wrong. I know diets like the gfcf work but you should never EVER risk chelation as it can swervely damage your child.

THANK you. I've embraced autism, as I believe I may be, and my son *definitely* is. Jenny M. needs to get over it... her son is NOT 'cured'. He's simply adjusted to the way his brain works.
