  • People have rated sting's songs as bad in the past because his lyrics were too intelligent and deep for people to understand. He's a BOSS

  • the bass is played forward perfectly!!!

  • Epic, best version ever!

  • Had a great performance in Belgrade two weeks ago...Sting \o/

  • Sting is a legend. This song rocks

  • KLASA SAMA W SOBIE

  • Sting is einer der besten!

  • magic! Remember this tour!

  • This is a great version of this wonderful song. Pity that images are not in sync with the music.

  • Never lose faith in people! Okay and keep singing.

  • When I saw him in Toronto with The Poilce Reunion, the warm up band was "Fiction Plain" which featured his son on bass and lead vocals. The influence and nurturing from his father was apparent. The kid was great

  • I can't believe he had Vinnie playing on this album.....and I never even knew it. heh, sort of cool.

  • Loving that thump snap

  • Anyone know where you can this on DVD/CD/Blu-ray or anything?

  • This line-up is fingerlickin'good !!!!

  • i have to say that i think the bass sting uses at the police reunion is the best for him.

the vintage fender fits the best to his thump, muted style of playing bass

  • Sting has been using that worn out Precision 57' since late Police times... One of the notable musicians that does not changes his bass 5 times thru a gig and 100 times thru his career but plays one good piece for more than 25 years... He's been using various kind of basses in the Police until he found the one that works the best for him...and he's using it since then.. However, the one in this video is probably Precision 54'...his back-up bass...

  • I always thought Sting played a spector, but I absolutely adore precision basses, too.

  • Great song

  • Magic combination... Sting, Vinny, David and Dominique... wish they would get together again some day!

  • They were together for two show on may.

  • where?

  • Toronto and Sao Paolo in november

  • the bass is just great in this song, especially this live performance

  • BEST song of the 90's!!!!

  • the best of music singers ,

  • just remembered good old days jamming with the song...meaningful and great song.. one of the best of the 90's

  • Can someone please upload rest of the concert, or just King of Pain? I have it on VHS, but the quality on the tape isn't that good.

  • he picks his musicians with care...they are so good!

  • I really love sting and his band. He really lives the Midas Touch. Everything he touches seems to bring magic to the listening people. Im a guitarist my self,- singing the backup, and I really think Sting with The Police or not - that man really have got talent!

  • Sting is awesome.

    I love this song.

  • Vinnie!!! Great feel on this song.

  • Plis... dont lose fait for the people. The companys, the goberment, the politic guys, is other fenomenon.

  • tight tight band and a killer song

  • Love this song and Sting! He is truly a musical genius!!!

  • Love this song and a few others when police were together.

Hey he comes from my hometown

  • I heard this song on my holiday and loved it, and when i got home, all i can remember when i hear this song is my summer memory. I love this song live, it sounds amazing!

  • Thank you so much for a nice comment!

I'm so glad that you really felt so:D

    Nice to meet you!!

  • Hi, no problem. Nice to meet you too!! So are you a big fan of sting?

  • Exactly! and you?

I'm also a bass player and vocal either;>

  • Hey, sorry to disappoint you, im not really a fan but i think hes a nice guy, his music is not really my taste but i like this one and i like two of the police songs! (I play the piano and i sing,) if you wanna chat more, send me a personal message!

  • To my mind this is Sting's best line-up. Dominic Miller, David Sancious and Vinnie Colaiuta; incredible musicians. It's a shame they weren't together longer.

  • 100% agreed...such a tight sounding group....!!

  • Very simple bass line , ....but very effective! A great harmonic tissue, built on scales. A talented guy :-) composer

  • I couldn't have said it better.

  • Kapitalnie zagral w tym utworze Colaiuta..:]

  • I believe this is the concert with the killer guitar solo on "King of Pain". Does anyone concur or have that footage?

  • Nice!

  • Love the bass riff on this one
