I saw this twice in the theater. It looks great, but it's fairly incoherent. One of the best WTF title sequences ever between the shaky formalism and the intentionally ugly music.
@DJmichelleLove1 3-) So regardless to what my ( or yours for that matter) aesthetical concerns Picasso's art is beautiful due to the function they serve - communicating feelings and emotions.
Now about the music in this clip, Rob Hubbard communicated emotions and feelings no worse than the music here which made the cost of the musical tool or whether it was rented or free, irrelevant. I hope I was able to clear things out a little bit better.
@DJmichelleLove1 2-) So, an artist shouldn;t concern about producing beauty but try to communicate what he/she has in his mind and heart.
Therefore what I said is correct that the beauty of an art object comes from the ability to reflect the artists inner thoughts and feelings,
For example I don;t like Picasso's paintings but I like his art since he was able to communicate his feelings very effectively. He was a good artist. (cntd)
@DJmichelleLove1 OK! music didn't cost that much but the tool costs that much.
This makes it worse.
"But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder is it not?"
This is interesting. Art has nothing to do with beauty, other than the effectiveness of the communication. However, beauty is about the function and the ethics behind. That's why there is the expression "beauty is skin deep." Anyway, as a soundtrack this music is no impressive than an old computer game music.
@DJmichelleLove1 OK! let's put it another way. The music in this clip not much different than the tunes from the commodore 64 game musics from Rob Hubbard (Commando, Thrust etc.). If you are right about how much this music cost, than quality truly does not necessarily come with money.
The music is............god fucking awful

@DJmichelleLove1 Let me explain a little bit more;
You said;
"I respectfully dis agree. I don't believe art or beauty shares my bias of it."
You also said;
"But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder is it not?"
And you disagree when I said;
"Art has nothing to do with beauty, other than the effectiveness of the communication."
Now please follow the lgoci here;
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, any art could only be beautiful in the eye the beholder. (cntd)
