Some would say that this is a pretty clear case of being careful of what one wishes for. Given that, how is Obama going to deal with the foreign policy situations in Afghanistan and Pakistan? The worst that could happen is that the award could shackle Obama from engaging in necessary military action. Of course, Obama may just do what is necessary, but the award will present itself as something of an embarassment.

I guess that if Obama can get the Nobel Peace Prize for just being around, anything is now possible. On the matter of this award, Obama has made some laudable achievements, that there can be no doubt about. There also the strong possibility that this award could be a massive millstone around Obama's neck. We'll have to see what happens over the neck few years.

Amazingly, I found, people are very apprehesive about eating food that is not commercially packaged. They look at it like its unclean. The IMF wants other currencies to take the forefront yes. But at the same time other countries that are heavily invested in the dollar need it to stay afloat. You can't just trash a currency all at once. You have to do is slowly otherwise there will be a huge ripple effect around the world. The dollar may not end up being the main currency of the world anymore. But it doesn't mean that all hell will break loose. Look at this more like America's renewal after the storm. Maybe we'll get it right.
