freddie roach is really good a teaching offensive boxing but it doesn't seem like he focuses on defense that much because on all of the videos i see of him he's just catching punches he's not really working on defense with his fighters to much.. i'm an offensive type of guy i like that roach is a good offense trainer but he should work on defense with his fighters more and teach them how to fight on the inside better

@ImJJames He needs to move up in weight again, he's just growing into a bigger fighter, even Ariza said he body is still growing. I believe that his chin will grow stronger once he moves up again. It's like when he was fighting at lightweight and got knocked out, as soon as Roach started training him, he told Amir to move up to 140lbs, as Khan was weight drained at 135lbs, that's why Khan struggled at that weight.

Also, he's a different fighter now, he's more defensive, whereas before he was always about the offensive and throwing combinations wildly. It's just fortunate that most of the opponents he faced couldn't handle his pressure fighting/punching. I think he struggled with Prescott because of the range and height of Prescott, as Prescott was an inch taller and had a longer reach, therefore it may have been harder for Khan to work off the jab. So It'll be interesting to see the Peterson fight!
