Surfing, especially in cold water, is one sure cure. Nothing easy or comfortable about it if you are a beginner, or old (like me) or live in Montana or some place like that. But if you really want a cure, this will work. I used to surf alot and now am determined to restart. its all about drying out the fungus... you can try and kill it with chemicals and waste your money on shit that probably wont work. salt water helps dry the skin, powder sprays and just regular powder stick deodorant. the key is washing the area giving the fungus less dead skin cells to consume and keeping the area dry so the fungus doesnt have an environment it can thrive in.

being honest i just got rid of my jock itch using nothing but lotrimin antifungal spray, my jockitch was itching and dark skin called hyperpigmentation so my advice to ppl with jock itch is go to walgreens buy a $10 lotrimin antifungal spray and follow the directions on the bottle, u have to use it for 2 week daily. also fill the bath tub with some shallow water about 1/4 of the but and put 1 cup of salt and soak urself for 15-20 minutes and do it for 4 days per week it will make it feel good

Believe it or not, your can kill ring worms with oil from the dip stick of your car engine. i bullshit you not! my grandpa told me to apply some to this massive ringworm i got.. i complete covered it with the oll and it died and flaked off within that week. that shit was crazy! but it worked on me and my best friend's kid.

Jock itch is hard to get rid of and smells horrible. I think that doctors need to prescribe battery acid to rid you of it. I tried NyStop powder, and it did nothing. Thankfully, after 15+ years of having it, it has localized to under the right side of my scrotum; it used to be such that the whole underside of my scrotum itched. The itching leaves big ugly scars, too. Does anyone know how to beat this ugly fungus? I have had no luck with NyStop. BTW, I was kidding about battery acid.

My physician has prescribed me with loads of antifungal creams with no explanation, same as you. My skin just reacts to the creams after a period of time. My jock itch still drives me crazy. no topical treatments cure fungus unless the topical treatment is poisonous and harming to the fungus. That means natural treatments won't work in this case because they are not toxic. The only ones that I know that work are bleach and gasoline. You have to wash your balls under cold water for hours to get rid of the pain when you put these chemicals on.
