have you ever drifted an FD? they are short and wide hence they are harder to get right out, the entire car has been changed heaps since this with the steering rack being shortened considerably to help get more angle

that is just a bolt on sequential adapter that he was trying out. he now shares a HKS sequential gearbox between his 26b PP FD RX7 and his 20b monster Bridgeport Turbo RX8 although Mike and Chromie chucked a standard FD box in the FD RX7 yesterday for a burnout demo in Auckland this week (hopefully will last a couple of skids) as the RX8 is in the States for Formula D duties.

It is now RedBull/HKS backed and has a full BN Sports Blister Defend Widebody Kit with a custom 4Rotor 26b PP engine with HKS gearbox. A Mazda Rx8 is being built as we speak to compete in NZ while the FD will travel overseas to compete.

Mike dispatched both drivers from the Netherlands on his way to 8th at the Redbull World drift Champs in Long Beach. They were both in M3 Bmw's from memory (the E30 was bad). Watch out for Adam Richards who is another New Zealand drift driver, he's competing in europe.
