  • yup laser vision surgery fucked my eyes up too. Look into the cock suckers who invented lasik. This fuck stick uses glasses. fuck him and fuck laser vision surgeons.

  • great quality of sound

  • its wear not where

  • Gah holy crap my left ear doesn't work >.>

  • Did anyone click this video for any reason other than the title? I didn't...

  • I work for an eye surgeon who also does LASIK. I can assure dkantis that no member of our staff is commissioned. Also, where are you getting this figure of vision changing every five years? Every patient's eyes are different, we are humans, not computers where our software gets changed at pre-determined intervals. There are serious risks of side effects/complications in LASIK, just like any other elective surgery, but please do not take your medical advice from moronic Youtube comments.

  • OH WOW

    chronically dry eyes

what a bitch, i've had dry eyes my entire life

  • OR OOR get glasses or contacts like 1 million times cheaper and u dont risk your eyesight

  • just wait until they make the real star trek laser to fix your eye without any incision. Until then wear glasses.

  • go to lasik dare devil dot com (avoid the spaces etc.)

  • im only 13 but i'd rather wear glasses since allergies don't allow me to use contacts so i guess im gonna be wearing these for the rest of my life after seeing this.

    ...... atleast i can see

  • My Myopia was like being blind. 6 days since my lasik and no problem right now. Just got to post care, and be very careful for few days thats all. Good doctor good clinic, and good patient I think good results. I am 20 years old and I think it is better to get LASIK at this age then to wait when I am 30 or 40 because then eyes tear production is significantly less.

  • @Yuudai keep us posted within the next 10 years and lets see if you have the same enthusiasm... by the way I want to get LASIK but I'm having second thoughts...

  • @alex191306 It has almost been a month. Not bad results so far. Still slightly myopic with my left eye, but the right eye compensates just fine. Right eye I vision 20/15, and let probably like 20/30 or 20/40? I am to lazy to go to doctor, so I will go to them or my follow up on june 4th. Still waiting patiently or left eye to clear up... Dry eye symptoms I don't really feel them that much anymore. Like first 2 weeks it was very freaky the dry eye was terrible but it is not that bad right now.

  • @alex191306 Vision is kind of bad in the morning, but I think thats because eyes are watery or something. My eyes are a lot less red and so the hemorage is almost completely gone. At night time the lights do seem pretty bright, but I am not having any problems driving. Morning being in Alberta it is very bright the sun light, so I got to keep my sun glasses on while outside. Smart because protects you from harmful uv rays :D

  • WEAR not WHERE, stupid

  • haha. the only reason i clicked on this is cause you spelled wear wrong.

  • Completely satisfied with my LASIK procedure. Putting drops in my eyes a few times a day is worth not being eight diopters myopic

  • i'd rather wear my glasses than going for LASIK

  • Complications are rare- Hmmm sounds like skydiving.

  • yep. I am another victim of this fucked up, unethical industry.

  • Older doctors with myopia probably forego surgery because it will compromise near distance vision. Myopics enjoy good near vision even in older age, whereas normally sighted people tend to need reading glasses. If you have a career or lifestyle involving lots of near vision, staying myopic should be given serious thought.

  • omg so what should i do?

i want to threw the glasses :(

  • Now I believe if you have bad vision where glasses no contacts I don't think that you should shove things in your eyes there not mention to have stuff there so ya

  • @ musiclover dude I had LASIK 3 years ago I now see halos and have shirt night vision but to all who is struggling with night vision wait a pair of yellow tinted glasses it brightens things up I called the LASIK plase and in low mans terms they said pound a bucket of sand I'm a police officer and this dukes up my job one day a class action law suit will start and I will join so if there is one and you had LASIK prob then join it get some money for your troubles

  • Dr. Keon Nia performed lasik on me and as a result of the surgery I now have major night vision problems and dry eyes that hurt all the time. LASIK sucks! it is permanent. You can’t return it like a bad pair of glasses.

  • laser vision surgery ruined my eyes at 32 years of age. fuck all laser vision surgeons.

  • then report to fda i hate patients who complai secretly about their surgery and dont report which scews information for others who want to do lasik.

that is why only 5 percent have complications, because 15 percent dont report their complications

  • @musiclover7631 i did you fucking hack. the fda does nothing. one day you butchers will ruin the wrong guys eyes and hell get payback. trust em.

  • All is hear is QQ

  • It is actually true that most of the ophtamologists have glasses, not contacts or lasik.

Actually, there is nothing wrong with glasses, they actually protect your eyes (from wind, dust, or pigs spraying pepper spray), so unless you have a very strong problem with your sight you shouldn't risk such a precious part of your body.

And eye gymnastics can help as well.

  • why do they give you a plush toy to grab on

    must be scary lol

  • Based on survey data, only around 5% of corneal refractive surgeons have had some form of refractive surgery themselves.

I would bet that there are very few... perhaps NO corneal refractive surgeons who have had LASIK in the past several years. They know better. If they have corneal refractive surgery at all, they would have a surface ablation.

For those who are satisfied, consider yourself a winner in the game of Russian Roulette.

  • @thetruth8699 what is surface ablation?

  • @miyoudkla Surface ablation means that they don't slice your eye and lift it up like the opening of a tin can. Therefore, there's less cutting of nerves with surface ablation (i.e. PRK) as compared to LASIK. However, there are 2 reasons that LASIK is more popular. Since LASIK slices more nerves and they don't scrape the surface of your eye like PRK, there's less post-op pain and more "wow" factor. Also, there's less frequent post-op visits required and greedy LASIK MDs like that.

  • @thetruth8699 Wow what a joke. Nerves in your eye? You mean nerve bundles. Slicing a nerve fiber would lead to blindness. And LASIK is supported by ACA because EBM shows nerve tissue fully regenerated 2 years Post OP and 65% by 3 months. The only complications of less nerve bundles is slightly dry eyes.

  • Because not EVERYONE wants to get Lasik eye surgery..............duh ! I had it done TWO years ago, and am VERY satisfied with it.

  • problems usually show at some point. Try 9-10 years. This surgery WEAKENS the strength of your corneas permanetely...that's a proven fact.

But you are extremely lucky that you have not had problems thus far. I wouldn't recommend this crap to anyone else though.

  • a very prominent ophthalmologist continues to wear eyeglasses despite of his ability to undergo lasik, with all those gadgets in his clinic and the interiors and high-tech machines and stuffs; in other words he is rich enough to get the lasik. But he would never undergo lasik, you know why? he told me that the effects of lasik would do great, only until you are 39. when you reach the age of 40 there are side effects like in near sightedness, you will have difficulties concentrating on near objects.

  • Ruthcanal, "near sightedness", aka myopia, is the inability to focus on objects at a distance. This is not what happens as people age. The natural inability of the eye to focus on objects up close happens as people age and is called presbyopia. It cannot be considered a side effect of lasik, as it will happen to everyone, whether they've had lasik or not.

  • this is fucking stupid that there is no any accurate statistics. how the hell is someone supposed to make a decision without having any facts? I have seen plenty of docs saying the surgery is very safe, but heck they are living from this.

  • LASIK is not a permanent fix and your eyes change every 5 years. Make sure you understand this. Do you know that you're electing to pay a Lying LASIK Quack and their commissioned staff, $4k to permanently slice a FLAP into both of your eyes, leaving your eyes dryer than the previous year, getting worse every year, causing you MUCH pain. Hence the reason the FDA's website warns everyone: "the number one complication from ALL LASIK procedures is permanent Dry Eye Pain..." You've been warned!

  • i had lasik surgery 12 years ago and i had no dry eyes, and my eyes did not change

  • @musiclover7631

thx I fell I can trust you

  • @dkantis Please explain how my eyes change every 5 years. I assume you mean prescription? That may be true when you're <18. But assuming you don't have drastic changes in lifestyle in that time period, prescriptions stabilize.

  • This should be titled "Why I can't spell wear".

  • LOL

  • @j1gilbe lol
