@Rumeel12708 yo i bought this like a cupole of day a go work great two days later it started to act up i even hit systems reatore and it still skip when i started to draw so if you buy this thing be shure to keep the reseipt dude
Adobe premiere elements 8 is not junk you don't know what your talking about it will only freeze if you give it to many orders like any other program will so why don't you stop and think for a second about what you are saying and how do i know that it is good because i brought it and use it
Okay, so my APE 8 keeps crashing like you said. But my patch fixed it. I have Windows 7 and it says Graphics Card error. But I haven't done anything to my graphics card. Do you think you could help?
@CyberAceTV My processor is *slightly better, 2.93GHz, but I don't know, it runs like a charm for me, you just can't rush it, because it always renders the background.
I have the trial version and even that works smoothly and im using Vista and i heard Windows 7 is waay better so u might want to re-download or stop watching too much porn dude.. JK but great review...
I don't know what you're talking about. it runs perfect on both my dad's laptop, and mine. We both have windows 7 and 4 gig of ram. So far I love this program. I don't favor it more than after effects, but it's pretty cool over all.
the difference from Premiere and After Effects is that Premiere is to edit video and AE is to just go crazy with effects.... you make effects on After Effects and then edit it into a movie or video in Premiere....
Actually I think it might not be Premiere, I think it might be your computer. Premiere Elements 8/Pro CS5 require your computer to be a 64-bit system. Photoshop doesn't so I guess that's why it works but premiere doesn't.
@CyberAceTV Okay, but have you tried the other computer (the one you don't use as much)? The other one *might* work if it's a 64-bit Vista/7. Also, there's a lot of other people who use Premiere Elements/Pro just fine.
@CyberAceTV Also, you have to have a 1280 x 900 or larger display. Sorry I keep thinking/checking like this, but it just seems crazy that Adobe would release programs that crash, and patches that don't work. Sorry if I'm wasting any of your time and/or annoying you.
@CyberAceTV Okay, maybe it is Adobe. But, still it's kind of wrong to tell people it's a HORRIBLE editing software just because it doesn't work on your computer. Unless it's a very common problem. Well, thanks for listening to what I have to say.
@CyberAceTV Well I was thinking about getting Premiere for over a year now. I think I'll still download the trial version to see how it works. The least I can say for you is to wait for the next patch, or contact someone at Adobe. Of course you don't HAVE to, it's your decision entirely.
When I had it on my computer premiere took a really long time to edit video. Whenever I would edit HD video it would come out really distorted. It's not very user friendly. There were even some broken buttons (or they seemed broken)
I use Sony Vegas now and I have no problems at all. It blows premiere out of the water
@CrazyToiletSmasher I have to disagree, Premiere renders the video automatically for better results, you just can't rush it, that is all, Vegas dose not do that.
Hey CyberAceTV... :) I was wondering what editing software you would recommend for Mac. I need a new software and yeah... I *was* going to get Adobe Premiere Elements 8 or so, but now I'm kinda having second thoughts. Suggestions? Thanks. :)

I use Premiere Elements 8 on my system, with the update, and have very few problems with it. Your complaints may be related to your graphics card.
