Venezula, Cuba, Iran, North Korea shouldn't have to step up to critisize the US government on torure. How about American's stepping up to critisize the United States Government on torture? You can put me first on the list of speakers to throw a verbal pipebomb at the state. I was tortured in a US prison for two years before finally winning an appeal. You don't have to look outside the US for torture, although I'm sure there's plenty of it. Its going on right here at home, every day.
