@Socioistic - Yes, it's tuned C#F#BEAD here. Lowest 3 are Thomastik Infeld Acousticores (broze wound over nylon core, and EAD set, tuned down). Then it's a silver flatwound wrapped over gut cello string (I think it's a cello G string, tuned down). Then it's 2 plain gut bass viol de gamba strings (don't remember their intended tuning offhand).
@mOrtpengu1n Yea except that Ibanez is most likely shitty. But MM and Warwick are the Lamborghini & Ferrari of Basses so of course they would be good. But would any other company dare to try and have a good B string?
@rocafella142 - Ibanez, MM, and Warwick generally aren't custom made instruments - though they make some great basses (I had a Warwick SSII for a while; fantastic instrument). There are plenty of 34" scale basses with great B-strings (like my Fodera!). I've had a B-string on this bass too, at 30" scale and it sounds fine.
@roccafella142 rickenbackers are the just rulers of bass kingdom

I think I recall on one of your videos with this bass, you stated that your D string is a cello string or some such?

what scale is this bass? it looks like a 34. But a 34 scale 6 string would be nuts.

@rocafella142 Tell that to Ibanez, Music Man, Warwick...

How do you afford all these magnificent basses?
Wierdoinc 1 month ago
@Wierdoinc - I have a job that pays me money. Money can then be used in exchange for magnificent basses.
