But i always thought that the only thing that van halen did was use the same formula that worked to sell. Aerosmith changed in later years to sell a lot and play on radio.

i dont listen to a lot of 80s and before that music... but sabbath with dio and rainbow are good. as are the who...

y&t are ok. my gf listens to them, and i've found some of their songs quite good.
